The IDF says it played a key role in the so-called pager operation against Hezbullah, during which thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies exploded some three months ago.

The operation began some 10 years ago as a t IDF and Mossad project, as part of preparations in the military to surprise during a war.

The Mossad’s role in the operation was revealed earlier this week by two former agents who appeared on CBS, but now the army is also revealing details about its part in the plan.
