Even the newcomers in this domain recognize the typical trend of these trailers. Initially, they garner impressive view counts in the first few hours of release, only to see a significant decline afterwards. The Thunderbolts you mentioned also amassed over 5 million views in the initial 6 hours, yet the outcome speaks for itself.

Talk is cheap. 🙄

We know you hate Snyder lol

But this lie you lie give his works Na Shi bro

I'm fan of good movies.

Bro what are you even going on about? I don't have some personal vendetta against Snyder. The dude has just made some stinkers in his career. He has some good movies too but BvS isn't one of them. Of course this is my opinion and you're free to disagree.

Something I don't quite understand is this thing of calling people liars for having a different opinion on a movie when you can't even articulate anything they got factually wrong. It is extremely weird.

I rest my case. It's very clear you don't hate Synder and your criticism on BVS is so grounded

"Le Comte de Monte Cristo" (AKA "The Count of Monte Cristo" (2024)

"All human wisdom is summed up in these two words: wait and hope." — Edmond Dantès.

This was, surprisingly, my first taste of The Count of Monte Cristo media, and what a ride it was!

This new adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ widely acclaimed classic sets our protagonist, Edmond Dantès, on a path of revenge after being falsely accused of being a Bonapartist, a treasonable offense at the time. The revenge plot is a work of art, but as it begins to unfold, it consumes our main character, blurring the moral nuances between revenge and justice. After all, “A man that has lost his love, his livelihood, his family, his life… what more is there to lose?”

At three hours long, it doesn’t even feel like a chore. The performances are breathtaking, the cinematography pristine, and the artistic direction, excellent. A swashbuckling French period piece? You just have to be there!

Now that I’ve seen both films, I’m actually vexed that the French decided to submit the shallow Emilia Pérez for the Oscars’ Best International Feature instead of this beauty.

The French language is so alluring, so pleasant to listen to. It’s probably the main reason I’ve invested so much in French cinema this year, and this feels like a fitting crown for it all.

Special. Special. Special film. ✨
8/10.

Was just shaking my head reading your comments.

It's either you have absolutely no idea about the plot or you closed your ears to the dialogue.

1.. Batman felt little when Superman shows up in the sky
2..his staff died due to Superman.
3. Alfred tried to advise him that superman ain't his enemy but he doesn't care
4. Batman anger against Superman raged into common criminals

5. Lex is getting branded criminals killed to draw the fight between Superman and Batman
6. Kidnapping superman mother made it work meanwhile he wanted to talk but Batman isn't listening. If he wanted Batman dead, he would be dead.

Laughing out loud... Martha word is the dumbest thing? Then you have absolutely no idea how painful is the death of Bruce family is to him and why he went through hell to save Martha.

The fight scenes are beautifully beautiful

And you said The guy that played lex is miscast? the hell you are saying? Laughing... He's psychotic and we'll portray the lex character. Daring and bold and never gives up in trying to bring Superman down. Seems you never see Smallville

Laughing.

Doomsday is also shit to you... Replying you is waste of time jare.

Laughing

I'm sorry but this counter is wack

This is what you call an unmitigated hit with the fans. Its also not just DC fans buying into it but general audience too.

Beating The Batman easily wasn't in my bingo card!
This trailer destroyed all records DC has had in recent years. Now the marketing team just needs to keep this momentum going

Lol, why are you surprised? grin

I've been hearing SONIC tracking better at the box office for about 2 weeks now over MUFASA. Paramount's pic is also better well received compared to Disney's.

Fingers crossed on legs both later amass. cheesy

Senegal already in the Best International Feature shortlist but Nigeria is busy with Nzóbu Nzóbu!! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

So far, the International category seems my most interesting this year. Really lagged behind on last year's lineup. 😤

CONCLAVE......9/10

Now this is an engrossing and dialogue heavy religious political thriller. Top tier writing and acting.
Ralph Fiennes perfectly encapsulated his character and really put in the work portraying a Cardinal who's faith in the Church is wavering as he's tasked with the huge responsibility of conducting the election to find the new Pope and head of the Roman Catholic Church.

We're now enmeshed into the world of Papal politics as we see different ideologies and candidates within the Church across different races and ethnicities play their cards in a tight race to rule the Christian World.
Secrets are exposed, deception is employed, lobbying and corruption is even entertained in the hallowed chambers as any tool available to human disposal is employed to gain the coveted position and an upper hand.

Ultimately the weight of ensuring all this go well and "picking" the right Pope to lead the Catholic Church into the future unknown rests in the hands of Cardinal Lawrence — so deftly played by the enigmatic Ralph Fiennes.
I believe a Best Actor nomination and a possible win is in the cards for this wonderful performance.

The dialogue is easily one of the richest this year has to offer. Different compelling characters.
The twist at the end was nicely put together and executed. It's a deliciously concocted tale.

Excellent cinematography — easily one of the best of the year. The cinematography could easily rival DUNE PART TWO in my opinion. It's that good, especially with the way the film composes its shots and angles. The group shots with leading lines, symmetry and perfectly using the environment and objects as framing is just a cinematographers heaven!! Peak composition!!!

Even the colour grading and filter is just pristine. Great sound and production design as well as costume design and handling.
An experienced Direction leads the way in putting all these beautiful pieces together to form an Iconic film for the ages. This is looking like a Classic.

A cinematic beauty!!
Verily deserves all the hype it's been getting year round.

Easily one of the top 3 Best Picture of the year imo.

You're probably sincerely and utterly dumb if you think your favourite actors or celebrities in the 80s and 90s are saints and have never said anything derogatory about women esp when they were literally making movies about sexualizing young girls and no one complained at that time.
The only reason Trump was targeted for what he said at that time was because he was running for office from a different political party😏.
And also you're sincerely dumb and retard*d (looks like you are already) if you think that's cause for charging someone for rap*. The person who said he rap*d her literally went on air - not crying or even traumatised but talking about how proud of her self she was and how much money she would make.
Trump just recently won 15 million dollars for defamation against ABC News for the rape defamation and is filing a lawsuit against the alleged rape victim - he'd probably win that too probably to shut you fckin assholes.
This is not even about Trump but about how retard*d folks like you liars simply because you don't like that particular person. If Trump was not famous or rich- you can imagine the ruin it can create for an innocent person's life. I hope it never happens to you simply because you talked to a woman

You literally could have said anti-defamation laws applies to everyone and it would have ended but you decided to double down on the lies with no evidence.
I just wanted to show how hypocritical you truly are. Shut up about morality and talk about entertainment since you know nothing about the former.
