The controversial banner has been removed from Lekki Central Mosque.

This was confirmed in the below video from one of the Mosque member. He did a video showing that the banner has been removed today 18th of December 2024

I think it is good that they listened to what the Christians are saying about not liking the banner message as it is somehow against the tenets of their religion.

Good, the banner was unnecessary, religious matter is very sensitive in Nigeria. The person that posted it online might not even be that religious, but look at how it caused public outcry.

When I was in Ile Keu, we always say Jesus is not God and he is just one of the prophet and use alayhi wa’salam for him.

However, there was this period the saying led to a fight among my Christian friend at the football field when we were young. Na that time I first consciously know say Christians could take offense even for something in Muslim Quran. So I just respect them from that time.

The person that put the banner there self fit just be one guy doing his own. But I respect them removing it sharpaly. Na so e suppose be.

Don’t go around saying stuffs that could trigger the other religion.

Has the Mosque claimed responsibility for the Banner? Proper investigation should be made. This could be done by a mischievous person with intention of chaos.

Oga, through this your write-up, a wise person will know that you're sentimental in religion too not just in politics.

The Christians on the field did not pick offense because of the doctrine in the koran but because you said that in their presence which is unnecessary.

Anything about religion are made to be kept privately. You can't talk your mind about other religion when you know that the people of that faith will feel offended.
