Someone that wrecked GDP from 300bn dollars to 190 bn dollars in one year ?

Someone that wrecked GDP per Capita form $2500 to $877 in just one year ?

Some that caused egg prices to jump from 2500 to 7000 Naira in one year ?

You say he knows how to assemble the best minds ? You are not ok 😅

Well for those wondering why the Naira gained here is the reason:

1 Diasporan have started arriving in droves for the Christmas festivities and they are all looking for Naira to spend so they are changing dollars .

2 : Diasporans that are not coming for Xmas have also started sending dollars to their loved ones so they can shop for Christmas early.

This is what is responsible for the Naira gain and not any Tinubu

Is this the first time diasporans will come home for christmas

Being a FOREX expert and a key player in this sector, I quite agree with you that such brutal policy also played a role in the sudden crash of dollar exchange rate some days ago.

But as a long time player in this sector, I am also telling you from years of experience that this has always been the trend every year in Nigeria.

Let CBN repeat this around mid January towards end of January and see if it would generate such impact like it did in the past 3 days.

The dollar has started moving up gradually again as we speak.

It's a seasonal trend for dollar to maintain a stable or downward trend between december 7th to January 8th in Nigeria.

I agree with you.

But it’s a good opportunity to buy the dollar now using naira

You want to buy something that is dropping drastically? How will you make profit if it falls below #1300/1$?

Where did T-pain met Naira against Dollar? What did he promised during his campaign with Buhari? Crazy people going back and forth.
Normally, with Dangote refinery, and their acclaimed port Harcourt refinery coming on board, naira supposed to have gained much value towards dollar but Nigeria is ruled by th!eves.

I would have been affected by this, when I pulled my funds from Upwork to Geepay, Geepay was exchanging 1730 for a dollar, my guy told me to wait till it reach 1900 or 2k a dollar, but I no wan hear stories. So I withdrew immediately.

Now geepay exchanges for less than 1600 now.

Naija freelancers really cash out during this dollar rise.

Even when Dangote refinery came on board, naira did not appreciate. Give credit where it is due, the new digital platform Cardoso created has turned things around. Stop downplaying every positive news, it's a sign of sickness.
How has the dollar gain since the inception of the present governmebr? i guess from 750 to 1500 is gain. You guys are fools seriously

Everyone can't be gullible. Follow your own path. What I see today, you may see it in next 4 years.

My wish? They should stop using propaganda to run this country.

I said it a few times before.... September... October ...and early November ... the dollar will be in demand since merchants will be competing for it to purchase goods in time for Christmas. Private citizens will be ordering their stuff as well. The cost of the dollar will peak. Late November and definitely December ... purchasing is over...no demand for the dollar ... merchants are selling off their goods. Then the influx of the diasporians for Christmas.... bringing in loads of foreign currency.... flooding the market. At the time I was advising people to sell their FX ... then around Christmas....when it will bottom out ...buy again and hold. It is now heading to the bottom. My advice .... during Christmas week .... use your Naira to buy as much FX as you can and hold until around February when the cost will begin to increase. I'm no financial expert .... but just watch trends and come to my own conclusions after observations.

It’s nothing about complain , I don’t know if once you APC you guys a completely daft or something

Naira fell from 1750 to 1500 and it made news then you are happy

Why not wait and see if things are in place till April next year before screaming jagaban?

It has fallen to 1500 now rice have risen from 120k to 125k

Who is fooling who ?

You said Nigeria complain, 2014 a full 50kg bag of rice was 8k today it’s 125k

Do you , helinues and other brain skolombo fellows in Apc understand the raise behind this ?

Now you will direct me to compare prices of other countries.

A pack of Quaker Oats in uk 2014 was €1.50 2024 it’s now €3.20

Yours was 8k to 125k Una Dey mad ni ?

What's wrong in CBN flooding the market when there's excess liquidity?. For your info, CBN has licensed IOCs to sell 50% of their export proceeds to FX dealers.. so, everybody is no longer depending solely on CBN for dollars anymore.
av been advocating this since selling directly by IOCs to bd and banks will reduce or eradicate roundtripping.
