we are productive....60-80 of our imports and foreign exchange spend has been on oil products....now we've moved from import to export leaving us with excess cash.....also Nigeria has returned to the sale of Bonds in Fx with the last Eurobond of 2 billion dollars been oversubscribed and bringing in 9 billion dollars.....that's why our reserves have increased from 34 billion dollars early in the year to 40.2 billion dollars now and us expected to close the year at 42 billion dollars and expected to rise to 45 billion in the first quarter of 2025......
Is the Eurobond the reason for rising reserve?
Reserves already hit 40bn before the Eurobond
How did a $2.2bn bond bring in $9bn

News of 2 refineries should reduce the runaway depreciation

But it takes another policy somersault to revert back to 1900
It may come down fo 1,200 by December 2025 with more refineries coming on board.

Someone that wrecked GDP from 300bn dollars to 190 bn dollars in one year ?

Someone that wrecked GDP per Capita form $2500 to $877 in just one year ?

Some that caused egg prices to jump from 2500 to 7000 Naira in one year ?

You say he knows how to assemble the best minds ? You are not ok πŸ˜…

Well for those wondering why the Naira gained here is the reason:

1 Diasporan have started arriving in droves for the Christmas festivities and they are all looking for Naira to spend so they are changing dollars .

2 : Diasporans that are not coming for Xmas have also started sending dollars to their loved ones so they can shop for Christmas early.

This is what is responsible for the Naira gain and not any Tinubu

Nah unah dey use mouth inflate price of commodities 😁

Where U dey buy egg 7000 for a create ??

U people will destroy the country with propaganda.

I can confirm this. Dollar fell a lot in the black market too.

Edit: No celebrate too much or praise Tinubu. My BDC guys explained that it's seasonal, as diaspora people are returning for the holidays, they are selling their FX in exchange for Naira, which is temporarily propping up naira value.
This is the real reason.

You and your bdc don't know how to read: The introduction of EFEMS by the CBN appears to be driving transparency and efficiency in Nigeria’s forex market.

The platform, which consolidates all forex transactions into a single market, has now delivered gains for four consecutive days, further narrowing the disparity between the official and parallel market rates.

You think it is a coincidence? And how many abroad based guys in your area have arrived home for Christmas?

People go still buy "dip" and become millionaires in few weeks/months.

At N1500/$1, buy crypto/alts (especially Cardano or Solana) worth N2.5m, hold for a few weeks, and you might just make extra 1m for yourself.

The Nigerian economy will do two things due to its fragility: Make you or break you.

I'm not ing him as I'm going to quote him later and disagree with him on another point he made. But on the price of egg, jumbo is now N220 per egg, medium/small is N200 per one. I think you should multiply each price by 30 and tell us the answer. Tinubu has destroyed our economy
