First and foremost,fuel has 3 different grades or types in America-Regular,Middle and and the prices for each grades are different.The difference could be up to 1 dollar higher between the regular and .So when you say you bought fuel at $2.70 what grade did you buy?For emphasis,luxury cars like benz,BMW,lexus only use fuel.In Nigeria, they sell only fuel as such distinction in grades of fuel does not exist.Fuel is not cheaper in US than in Nigeria.To compare minimum wage in US with Nigeria is like comparing apples with oranges because the cost of living is not the same.Lastly,America is also currently battling with high inflation as cost of groceries,fuel and housing is off the roof.
