The Ikemba of Nnewi, Chief Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu has advised the head of the military junta General Sani Abacha to deal with Chief M.K.O. Abiola".

According to him, Chief Abiola was guilty of treason when he not only invited foreign sanctions against Nigeria but when he also declared himself president and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Chief Ojukwu who was speaking in Kaduna over the weekend as a guest speaker at the launching of a book titled “Nigeria - The State of the Nation and Windfall”, published by Arewa House described the pan-Nigeria mandate of June 12 last year as "an apparition."

By his call, Ojukwu is asking Abacha to make Abiola to face the ultimate penalty for treason, which is death.

He said "June 12 is not real, there is nothing like it.

Going by what Ojukwu said, Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa and a lot of Obidients and Ipob apologists should be charged for treason and hanged. I can't count the number of Igbos that have called for sanctions against Nigeria simply because Peter Obi lost an election he obviously cannot win no matter the circumstances. Nnamdi Kanu without any election has severally declared himself the President and leader of Biafra Republic. Simon Ekpa named himself Prime Minister of Biafra. They even went ahead to form military force and security service outfit.

Abacha was a military tyrant who usurped the leadership position in 1993 after Nigerians already elected MKO Abiola as the president of the country. Abiola had every right to declare himself the president because he was the one validly elected president by Nigerians and not Abacha.

Again, morons like Aisha Yesufu have said severally that Tinubu is not their president because they did not vote for him, should the Federal government now charge her and idiots like her for treason? You obviously don't know history. Yorubas fought IBB to the point that he had to hurriedly step aside and hand over to an interim government headed by Ernest Shonekan. Arguably the first time a military tyrant would be stepping aside voluntarily without a coup or handing over to an elected president. Yorubas made it happen.

When Abachas took over, we fought him and the military government so fiercely that they had no choice than to return Nigeria to a democratic government headed by a Yoruba man. Between 1999 and now, we've produced a president for 8 years, vice president for 8 year and the current president is also a Yoruba. The North has learnt never to double cross the Yorubas politically again. So kiddo, go back home and learn your history. You Igbos are a very small fry for us if we have your time.

But they keep on chorusing "yorubas hates igbos" and I ask, what exactly, is there to like about them? None of them has been able to proffrr an answer to my simple question. Probably because, there's none.

By the way, Obasanjo is not Yoruba. Nothing shows Yoruba in all his dealings. When we say “Yoruba” in this context, we mean pro-Yoruba. OBJ is always anti-Yoruba and even he himself knows he has no weight in Yorubaland.

No, Ojuku had no such power, he died in regret coz even his Biafra dream never got achieved.
