Sorry for my poor language, they were not fighting on twitter. Rather, I saw a video where Wike was talking about how he revoked their land on twitter. I had previously also seen the Minister of Works, Umahi, also having issues with them. If the Minister of Works is having issues with you, then that is your signal to exit. Then luckily I decided to rotate profit into another industrial sector player, Wapco, and the rest is history ![]() chimex38: 1 Like |

I dont think they will delist now. If they didn't do so when it was at a cheaper price, I dont see why they will now delist at this current level when it will be 5 or 6x times more expensive. I think Bagwa is right, perhaps they were just using the whole court thing as a distraction because if you check any technical chart, you'll see the ridiculous volume in Oando around 1st and 2nd week of September last year. It was likely Wale and co mopping us much as they could under 10 naira. Re: Oil battle, my spiritual analysis is telling me that Oando will likely get that Trinidad Refinery. It will not even shock me if FG and NUPRC want to give them SPDC also at this point megawealth01: |

KarlTom: That type of trading is abnormal. It defies all types of analysis because the stock is being controlled by one firm/one individual. We will begin our usual MH on chams when the coast is cleared. Looking forward to have a single stock portfolio on chams in the coming days. Good entry is the Koko. |

mikeapollo: Why do humans especially in naija always like to waste time! Gambling is a disease as that OANDO guy ojt will just be laughing at nsempa guys. He will be happy and popping champagne about the confusion he has set because instead of shareholders protesting and calling him out they are busy cracking their brains unnecessarily. Naija, we have a very long way to go.... Hope some are also learning sha ![]() 1 Like |

chimex38: At current exchange rate and oil prices, petrol cannot sell for N500. If oil prices go down to $30s then N500 is possible if the exchange rate stays fixed. If exchange rate also improves to N900/$ then even at current oil prices N500 will petrol be. |
mikeapollo: 3:59pm On Nov 28, 2024 |
BabsO2: Pegging our petrol price to the international price is one of the major mistakes that we are making as a country. I don't think any OPEC country does that. What we need to do is to determine the inter-generational cost of producing the crude oil from our soil and add some equitable markup/margin on it and sell to the local market. This is how the local economy can be competitive against other countries. Governments have successfully deceived us into believing that it is the right thing to relate the cost of oil in New York with the price we sell it in our villages and towns when we are the producers. The price of Coca cola in New York is the not the same as Coca Cola produced at NBC in Ibadan 1 Like |

mikeapollo: So what happens when PMS sells at say N200 in naija and in Cameroun here it is above 1k? There will be scarcity forever in naija due to snuggling. We can all see that Christmas is approaching and there is PMS everywhere. That's a departure from the norm. As I heard, Nigeria's crude is one of the most expensive to extract. At ca. $45. I don't know how true that is 3 Likes |
