In my view, it was a drag and drab. Only three scenes actually stood out, when 'the voice' was used, the forbidden tech and the end. I get it's just the pilot, but it didn't just have legs.

Hopefully the next episodes will be much more lively.

So the show runners didn't just spring it up from nowhere to suit a certain perceived agenda, they are actually trying to stay true to the source material.

I don't know how far back your film and show history goes, but they were actually gay characters in oldies alot, like a whole lot, one of HBO's best show ever and quite frankly a consensus all time fave of many people, Six Feet Under, had prominent gay characters, way back as 2001!. It didn't use to bother anybody then, because it wasn't slapped on just about any media like it is today.

But then again, they had no voice then, and like every facet of human history, they feel they have a voice now, and they need to be heard. You are well within your rights to be totally vexed seeing same sex relationships in media, but if i was chronic betting man, my money would be on you been mad, at like 70% of shows and movies, out, moving forward, especially from tamed conservative places like Hollywood and the British.

They should have used a 2-3 episodes pilot to hook the Audience.

The Big Bang Theory - S2 (08 - 09)

It's starting to hit that sweet spot...


While still mulling over whether to watch The Office (US) final season (because I just can't bear to see it end 😭), I decided to hop back onto this.

My main issue with Season 1 was that the jokes and good episodes weren't consistent, making it feel like a bit of a chore to get through. However, it seems they've solved that problem in Season 2. The characters feel fully developed now, and all the humor and charm that make up a good sitcom are firmly in place.

Perhaps I was too hasty in judging Season 1. Sitcoms rarely have a strong start, Season 1 is usually a free hit, where the writers establish the base for their characters. It's often in Season 2 that things really kick off. I mean, imagine if I had abandoned Parks and Recreation after that disastrous Season 1? The show became unrecognizable from Season 2 onward, with a sharp increase in quality, eventually becoming one of my favorite sitcoms ever.

So, I'm sticking with this atm as it has all the potential to be an all-timer for me. On to Season 3! 🌱

Yeah, I was glad to see this. They've put that woman through a lot just because she doesn't trangenderism. They've been trying to cancel her for years and all the people she made famous with her Harry Potter franchise have turned against her. I ire her strength and perseverance.

It's good to know that it didn't just spring up from nowhere.
Don't misunderstand me, I don't hate character simply because of their sexuality, that would be shallow of me.
In fact, I just binged The Wire a few weeks ago and Omar was one of my favorite characters in the show.
In case you don't know, Omar is gay, but there's so much more to his character than just being gay.

I grabbed the entire seasonal pack of this, awhile back, so i will eventually get to it, once my plate is empty 😬😅.

and sitcoms and comedy shows, are easy peasy binges, 21minutes tops per episode, no over complicated plot lines... way way easy to sit through.
