Hello everyone, If a person’s interview is rescheduled on the night of her interview, yet the portal is still showing the original date, what do you advise her to do?
Secondly, she and the Child (3 years old) date were separated, with a day difference. What advice do you have for her? Can she be allowed to do the interview on the same day with the child? They both have the same date and time before before suddenly they got reschedule email on the night proceeding the date of the the initial interview. Any one has experienced this before?

What people don’t realize is that student f1 experience is different from visiting B1/B2. I would never visit visiting visa thread and give advice because I don’t know anything about it.

Me advising against listing your USA siblings in your application in F1 is totally different for folks in B1/B2 because that is their main point that strengthens their application. So you see why it’s best to tailor advice based on the type of visa.

Don’t waste ur time. Both are the same. He quoted himself on July 28th about Ghana US dual citizenship for a purpose. See the way he mentioned some name as the best? Yeah he’s doing that for a purpose; to warm his way back in (gathering ers, the people he mentioned are popular here, and their heads will swell when they see this…)

I have same problem and so do many others across the world right now. I saw a similar complaint on Reddit and the best explanation so far is to wait some days for the AVITS guys to the set of ds-160 confirmation numbers that have "E" in the middle e.g. AA00E....

I actually changed mine from E to D and C and the error cleared so I align with this explanation. I also see that virtually every complaint I have seen online so far has an E in the number.

You will get a mail that your port is ready and also a link. Click on the link to schedule an appointment to pick up your port either at OIS or DHL. This is what I did for abuja, I don't know how lag's own is. If your visa was issued today, you should get a mail tomorrow hopefully.

My friend ed on Avits website and was able to book an appointment for interview date on the 27 of this month, but he just noticed that he made a typing error by inputting a wrong port data page number on his appointment letter, he typed 210 instead of 201 as end of the port number.
Although on the visa fee receipt and DS 160 form the port number is currently written but only the one on the appointment letter that is wrong. Please I will really appreciate it if someone can help on how to make the correction or if there is any possible advice on what can be. Thank you all.

Since it’s just the appointment confirmation that had the error, he should be good to go. He can also drop inquiry on the portal to ask them to change it for him.

Thank you so much for your response, he created a ticket since on the 15th of this month but no response from the avit team it's just showing "In Progress".

I need your advice regarding a deferral request and my visa process. My visa appointment has been planning on Preapproval request is being processed. for a month now, and my school is resuming on January 13. I’m planning to request a deferral to a later semester.

However, I’ve already ed my current I-20 to the visa portal, but I haven’t booked an appointment yet. Should I restart the visa application process by ing the new I-20 when it’s issued? Also, could you guide me on the steps to successfully request the deferral from the school
