I can't speak to the EFCC's own, but what the National Assembly did is not out of place.

He can cash out for wrongful arrest and detention. He was invited to attend a hearing. If you are invited to a party...do you have to show up? He was arrested because he didn't show up. Did they have a warrant for his arrest? That's what they must have before arresting him .... they didn't. He is wrongfully arrested and detained .... what are the charges? They brought him in ... if he said that's not him on the recording how can they prove it's him? There's a reason voice recordings are not accepted in courts .... someone's voice can be imitated.
