That is discounted cash flow.

Warren Buffett doesn't use it because of its many assumptions.

What he does is to get the growth, compound for the next 10 years or adjust after the 5th year. Whatever he gets in the 10th year will be multiplied by the average PE.

Discount the final value by 15% backward for 10 year to get his own Present Value.


It might be Mathematically wrong but it has been serving his purpose are it is very easy for people like me wey no sabi mathematics to apply with huge success

I forgot to include the summation of the expected dividends for 10 years yesterday.

The 10 year dividend will be added what the stock ought to be worth in 10 years.

This will take expected growth in dividends into consideration.

The total value with then be discounted back by your required return.

My required return is 20%

Look like Morgan capital and Atlas portfolio (cititrader) has same type of web portal.

Well I was able to do a transaction with cititrader today at around 0.80% total cost on BUY. This people will save me money oooo.Just that the funding and withdrawals are not friendly.You have to notify them of payment and request for withdrawal too.

Cardinal stone and stanbic are also cheaper in fees than other peers(Top brokers).Tested them ok
