Nothing to worry about.

Convert and lodge in your Dom or a Mutual fund .

For mutual fund you will simply be given an investment certificate, which is the best. No questions asked.

Alternatively just keep your house sale agreement and use that in a LOE when you are submitting explaining the source of funds.

I actually used my investment certificate, my pension certificate and treasury bills certificate, packed all in an LOE and tabulated each cash flow in CAD for easy analysis.

Don't worry too much about it, as long as the bar the requirement you are good.

Thanks a lot for the response

Good afternoon my people.

I've just been really curious and afraid at the same time.

The s i am getting from people in Canada, and what i have read so far seems to be really discouraging.

How true is the struggling over there?

Can you advice a new immigrant coming in as a skilled worker to come to Canada at the moment?

Are jobs available?

Please your inputs would be appreciated, i do not want to regret coming down there.

You can save a life.

Thanks

Hi guys, I have just accepted a provincial nomination few days ago, adding 600 to my score for a total of 978. However, my profile expires December 27. Please do you think there’d be enough time to get ITA

How can you be driving and doing this video? not only is it against the law and you can be fined and your driver's license suspended, you are also risking your life.

There is nothing that stops you from doing the video at a car park or anywhere the car is not moving. Please do better next time. Thanks.

Y'all should that Canada is very big. There are so many provinces and territories and the most important part is that there are different rules and laws in those provinces. If the person in the video is in Ontario, which is most likely the case here, there is no big deal in what he did but if it's in Alberta, he'd likely get pulled over by a cop.

Having lived in different provinces, I can tell you there are so many rules/laws in your province that are nonexistent in some other provinces. For example, tinted front windows are not allowed in BC, on no condition. Whereas, it's a norm/your choice in Ontario. Someone who lives in BC might say this in a way that suggests it's a general Canadian thing but it's not, it's just a pronvincial thing and vice versa.

Since you’ve received nomination, I’m not sure it matters now.

I think you should simply include the new info in you express entry profile and update the POF and chill for ITA. wink

Lets not be ing rubbish. That is distracted driving. A split second of your eyes away from the road can lead to a fatal accident. which one is both hands are on the steering. Na all these excuses carry us reach where we dey so as a people, and people are still ing and justifying traffic violations.

Below are exerpts from Ontario Traffic Laws.

1. Ontario’s distracted driving laws apply to the use of hand-held communication/entertainment devices and certain display screens.

While you are driving, including when you are stopped in traffic or at a red light, it is illegal to:

use a phone or other hand-held wireless communication device to text or dial – you can only touch a device to call 911 in an emergency
use a hand-held electronic entertainment device, such as a tablet or portable gaming console
view display screens unrelated to driving, such as watching a video
program a GPS device, except by voice commands
You are allowed to use hands-free wireless communications devices with an earpiece, lapel button or Bluetooth. You can view GPS display screens as long as they are built into your vehicle’s dashboard or securely mounted on the dashboard.

Other actions such as eating, drinking, grooming, smoking, reading and reaching for objects are not part of Ontario’s distracted driving law. However, you can still be charged with careless or dangerous driving.

2. You could face more charges – for careless driving – if you endanger other people because of any kind of distraction. This includes distraction caused by both hand-held (e.g., phone) or hands-free (e.g., Bluetooth) devices.

If convicted of careless driving, you may receive:

six demerit points
fines up to $2,000 and/or
a jail term of six months
a licence suspension of up to two years
You could even be charged with dangerous driving – a criminal offence that carries heavier penalties, including jail of up to 10 years for causing bodily harm or up to 14 years for causing death.

I hate it when people say wrong things and justify wrong doings with so much confidence.

What the man did is wrong, and he knows. It is worse in Ontario, you cannot do a video recording for Youtube while driving.

A dashcam records events on the road or in your car that could be called up in an insurance defense case or on a charge of accident by fault. Oga, that has lived in different provinces. If it is a norm/your choice in Ontario does not mean it is right. Attend a Provincial offenses court hearing and you will know that things we take for granted are being penalized daily.

I almost called you Karen, but that won't be befitting. Maybe Kevin!

Police control the MDTs in their vehicles while they drive, but they don't do it in an unsafe manner. So according to your analysis, once they take a peek at their MDTs which are usually on their right, they are automatically considered to be engaging in distracted driving.?

Stop hyper-extending things, all the rules you quoted up there state that if it is a hand-held device, and go on to mention that if it's a screen it has to be attached to the vehicle's system and so on... The way he occasionally looks at his camera is the same way you'd occasionally turn your head to the right/left periodically when you drive. Again, as long as you're not holding your phone, you are not watching a video, your eyes are on the road, you're in full control of the vehicle and you can operate your tech with voice commands, what exactly is illegal here? Are there safer ways to make that video? Yes! he can make that video when he's not behind the wheel. But does that mean what he did is illegal? No! It's extremists like you that build fear in new immigrants when they arrive.

Quit ing and justifying wrongdoings. You are even comparing making a video for full audience with turning head left to right and in another instance to Police on their patrol work.

Just stay on the right side of the law pal, them no dey hear 'Abeg" here oh.

We not trying to install fear, but you and i know that some of us try to look for all sort of excuses not to comply. We can go on and on but i guess there has to be an end.

Thanks, You would make a very good one by not being able to comprehend that what you highlighted (with your own hands) refers to a GPS display screen and not someone making an active youtube video while in motion?

"GPS display screens"

Social Media has become a forum for people to display their low intellect and they do so with so much confidence.

I don't even understand the rationale.

I usually allow these types of ignorance to fly but this one is going beyond.

I was in a provincial court appearance and a defendant stated that she was only 5km above the speed limit and therefore was not guilty of the offence charged. She was even arguing with provincial judge that one is allowed up to 10km above speed limit, Ha!

your point is baseless, dashcam is hands free vs GPS display screens hands free .
And he is making active YouTube video as you at the enger seat with him..
I hope you know what is active youtube
Which is live stream that cut and video is now active youtube to you. Your point is baseless .
