Isn't this the delusion I'm talking about.
If you made 1 million naira a month, people who work at McDonald's would make more money than you.

It's as if you only listen to right wing news.
These are just the things he's said the last year. Doesn't include the illegal appointments he made, the conduct he was impeached for and many others.

What appointments esp are illegal?
Please I'm bored of typing

Your simple minded brain skipped cost of living. There's a reason actual Americans are leaving the country and heading to South America, South East Asia (which I'm familiar with) amongst other parts of the world.

You're telling me about some McDonald's worker. You're a doofus. You think I'm waiting on EBTs and Welfare like a lot of Americans are right now.

Mofo. Stay on topic. Black men are leaving the Democrat plantation enmasse and that's sweeting my belle.

Don't worry about what's in my pocket. I'm living fairly comfortably. Within my means. It's fagg0t men like you that's always in other men's pockets. Compromised ass negro.

You would probably get buck broken for a check. I don't trust pocket watching clowns like you.

This is the 2nd time you've referenced homosexuality. Why is it one of the first things that comes to mind for you when talking to another guy? There seems to be an epidemic of closeted homosexuality in Nigeria.

Fam, you probably make ~200k naira a month.
You should probably focus on where you'll get your next meal and rather than the US election a continent away.

Take it so I can understand you understand the basics of how US government works.
You don't seem to understand the rudimentary stuff, so why would I waste my time explaining stuff like illegality of some of Trump's appointments?

Boeing's been struggling for a while with safety issues.
This isn't surprising.
If it weren't for their government contracts it may be worse.
That's the problem with lobbyists and connections, you get too comfortable.

Senators Urge Justice Dept. to Hold Boeing Executives able for Safety
In a letter, Senators Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal criticized the Justice Department after continued episodes with the company’s planes.

And you think people are buying homes because the economy is good. They're building homes because of it's necessary!

Are they not building homes because it is profitable and job creating? Or is there no benefit in building houses and selling homes and all the furnishing that goes in them and the jobs created building them?

Part of the problem is that Hedge funds/Private Equity firms are buying homes for investment purposes, driving up the prices.
Also, I know in Mass, part of the problem some years back was that international buyers were buying homes above sale prices in cash.
My brother was looking to buy a house, he went 15% over asking price and someone bought it more than that in cash.

Also during the pandemic and post pandemic a lot of building materials soared in price. I made some money trading hot rolled steel. Adding to the increase in building costs.

Boeing went dei? Do you live under a rock? Boeings story has been in the news for over a year. How they merged with mcdonnel Douglas in the 90s and allowed ants rather than engineers lead the company and how they have been chasing shareholder value and enshittifying the company.

Boeing is a warning tale of late stage capitalism and the dangers of focusing solely on quarterly reports. You right wingers are really and truly something else with your willful ignorance.

For sure, it would be the economy that would be at the top of their minds. But they may have it easier than others looking for jobs, if Boeing pays them a severance that is equal to 2 months of their regular salary

I agree, aside from the DEI angle. The bad press that they’re generated over the last year or so was bound to lead to some negative consequences. But I didn’t expect them to cut 10% of the workforce in one fell swoop.

Moreover, if more airlines decide to ditch Boeing and pitch their tents with Airbus (or Embraer), more job cuts would be inevitable.

Most of this is misinformation, a lack of understanding of economic policy and/or convoluted.

I already went through a lot of it in previous posts.
One that stood out is Trump and oil. He actually negotiated a deal to cut oil production. Which was the start of the increase in gas prices.
Oil production is actually higher now than ay time in history.

Another is the tariffs. You say you care about high prices but tariffs would be inflationary in the short term as companies would have to open up and hire to start producing those goods.

Another poster after a few exchanges with you has concluded you are a retard.

I agree to a limited extent. They have ants running the behemoth and ignoring seasoned engineers. We can't ignore they were big on DEI.

https://www.boeing.com/sustainability/diversity-and-inclusion

I guess most of those going will be DEI hires.
It's happened to a lot of companies.
Musk fired 85%.
Facebook fired 20000 employees.

Boeing also cared about ESG.
ESG drove Sri Lanka with a 98% score into a famine, till they got rid of their head of state after invading his palace.Tbats a story for another day.

Oh well.

Continue to find reason. Not even Trump will help anyone live the American dream of "in pursuit of happiness and accomplishment" grin

When housing prices are going up , developers are building high end estates, and people continue buying , the economy is on steroids.

It is only in your right wing fever dream that Boeing's woes are being attributed to dei. Actual technical and business journals place the issues where they belong - short thinking corner cutting to please the shareholders. Making 'shareholder value' the company watchword. It makes one wonder exactly what appears in your daily feed.

And it represents a staggering decline of 79% from the $19.66 million that Fidelity estimated the shares were worth in October 2022 when Musk acquired Twitter. The new valuation from Fidelity implies that it believes X is now worth just $9.4 billion — a far cry from the $44 billion that Musk paid.

Maybe you have also somehow missed all the articles about twitters current market value.

The less you cap about musk, the better.

Maybe it is dei hires that are led to a drop in value from 44 billion to under 10 billion

The irony is that this is more likely to hasten their demise. Less people to do more work. And aircraft construction and certification is labour intensive. But hey this will drive up the share price and create shareholder value so it's a win!

Would Israel even exist if they were the weaker entity

Hamas go don wipe them out since
Exactly. The genocide they accuse Israel of committing if they were in a better position they would have done it long ago. Afterall, Hamas' intent is to wipe out the Jewish State and they always start the attack. They are just projecting.

wirinet:

It was not Hamas that made the two state solution difficult, it was hardliners on both sides. In fact Hamas took advantage of the hardliners to get power from more moderate PLO, just like Benjamin Nathanyahu (a hardliners on the Israeli side) took advantage of the hardliners to gain power.
Hamas and Likud Party are two sides of the same coin - hardliners not ready to concede any concession to the other.
Yitzhak Rabin and Yassar Afafat were more moderate and were negotiating a permanent peaceful solution to the conflict under Bill Clinton's istration. They signed the Oslo 1 and 2 accords,(for which both were awarded the Nobel Peace Price). But hardliners in both countries rejected the Oslo accords. Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated and Yassar Afafat died (suspected assassination), since then the chance of any peaceful solution died.
What I was referring to was October 7th. What Hamas did on October 7th has killed any idea of a two state solution at least for a decade. The person I quoted tried to blame Israel alone for why a two-state solution is not happening I only reminded him that Hamas contributed to it by what they did on October 7th.

The two state solution was impossible only after October 7th, not when Israel politicians declared they didn't want a 2 state solution?
And what is false about the map?

This map explains it better. That map has been disproved as propaganda because it fails to note that Jordan and Egypt once annexed lands and Lands gets annexed or taken during the victor in war time. It is frowned upon today but was the order of the day in past centuries. When Egypt and Jordan annexed parts of Palestine why didn't they give it independence? Of course not, because they never cared about Palestinian liberation.

I would put it at $100 B.

Boeing has technical issues, emphasis on profits share prices, competition, govt contracts plus DEI.My guess is that they will utvdiem mostly non technical staff.

X's value was never 44 billion dollars👀 and you know that- people started buying Twitter stocks because Musk said he was going to buy it thereby overvaluing the stock to turn in a profit - that was why Elon Musk was sued🤷🏽‍♂️.
I can't believe people like you still doubt Elon - none of his companies have been failures. XAi is currently being implemented on X and it's valued to be worth more than openai - that'll definitely increase X's stocks. In three years - X is estimated to be profitable - something Twitter never could for more than 12 years. It's not about the stocks- it's about profitability. People said X will die out😂 now it's more important than ever.
Elon is doing things no one ever thought was possible and you're here talking about stocks of two years ago
