You are probably driving and using Japanese or Korean products, and Japan is a country that is majority Shinto...ie idol worship. There are shrines to their gods everywhere, and people worship their gods , and keep shrines to their ancestors in their house.

Also, South Korea, at least 30% of the populaiton is christian, most follow ancient Korean paganism. Even in the DPRK, a tiny minority follow pagan religion
