See ehn, it is very sad and frustrating. Since May or so, I have gotten 3 new batteries. I got the 3rd yesterday. And the useless new battery went off at 23%. New battery o. The sad thing is it's only going to get worse. The first one I got didn't last 3 weeks before it started dying at 55% and I had to get another. The 2nd that I changed yesterday was dying at 65-70%. In fact, the battery was swollen and my phone could not close. I couldn't use my fingerprint scanner again 💔.

I know someone who works at LG service centre in Indonesia. He has access to original G8 batteries from Korea. But he told me they don't ship batteries via air, and ship would take a few months. He also said I couldn't buy 1 because of weight whatever. So if you're willing to still buy a battery for your G8, maybe we could buy two? Idk if they can ship two.

Since May, I've spent almost 40k on batteries. I spent 10k yesterday (minus tfare). I'm tired.

PS: all the batteries I've been getting are from different vendors at Ikeja.

But I know someone who sells batteries. He has G8 battery for 7500. 8500 if you order from his Jumia page. you could try and give your engineer to fix while we wait for the original battery to come.

PS: I didn't buy from him yesterday. I just went to a recommended engineer direct.

If the Asian guy say 2 batteries no work, I go just rest once this one pack up.

This battery I got as at when I made that comment seems to be better than all the other ones I've gotten. My phone stays on for as low as 14% and doesn't lag while at it. I haven't tried to see how long it will stay up for before going off. So I just charge when it's low.

I'll ask the guy for the V30 battery. If he can order the two, I'm game. But it will take months to arrive.

No Volte, no 5G. (Unless you know how to tweak things)

LG phones will lose playstore certification by the year's end. It means some apps that require your playstore to be "certified" won't work. So you'll need to root your phone and do some tweaks to fix it.

I have not been able to completely degoogle my phone because I still run back to YouTube, Gboard and still need the play store. How do you cope?

Also, have you enabled Dual sim on your V60?

the higher the android, the harder it is to degoggle, unless the phone is ed by grapheneOS and the likes, for me, I am still on stock android 10 but rooted...but still, I can't degoggle completely as the phone becomes 'unusable', so with hail+root, I can only freeze playstore, gboard, and some other LG apps...

as for apps:
I use unexpected keyboard as I have access to more characters on the main keyboard and sometimes I use heliboard for the swipe functionality

for YouTube, I use Newpipe and the likes...

But truthfully, Oneplus might be my next phone for a long time, as they are the only ones who rooting and boot loader unlock officially, since Google is already tightening android and phone manufacturers are complying...

Please I need assistance on this issue as it's been bugging me now for some days. Charges for a while then pops up.
Worse is when connected to my powerbank and I've changed USB cables severally including newAge 65watts type C cable and other cables yet same.

They are, but S21 is hotplate because of the Snapdragon processor, and those green line issues.

The Pixel 5 has a weaker battery and processor.
