At least, the US is Ukraine strongest ally, we should be seeing f-35 defending Ukrainian airspace if it's that powerful against modern air defense. It's obvious USA and NATO's interest is not the military defeat of Russia but depletion of combat capabilities of Russia using Ukrainian blood till it becomes Russia's best interest to stop the war.
This is buttressed by the gradual escalation of level of equipments they've been giving Ukraine to fight with. First they sent Javelins, Nlaws etc then they sent Excalibur artillery shells then they started sending MLRS like HIMARS then sent short range ACTACMs for the MLRS and Stormshadows then sent tanks and long range ACTACMs and now they've sent F16.
There are many equipments I either intentionally skipped or I can't right now but that's how it's been escalating with time. Imagine Ukraine having long range ACTACMs at its disposal when those 40 mile convoy of tanks were bogged down for days during the initial days of this war? Imagine the damage they could've made shooting fish in a barrel from miles away

Will there be F35 in Ukraine in the future? Maybe. So long Ukraine can still fight on with what they have, America and partners have no reason to if the goal I'm assuming they have is to keep bleeding Russia using some old or less recent weapons and Ukrainian blood
