The glorious set of DMGS, Class of 1936, after they all ed the Cambridge School Certificate. Sitting in the center was the Senior Prefect of DMGS in 1936, Prof. Kenneth Onwuka Dike, who was the first Nigerian Professor of History, and the first Nigerian/African Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan.

To his left was Rev. Canon C. A. Foster, the Principal of DMGS from 1931 to 1937. To his right was Bishop C. J. Patterson, who served as acting Principal in 1935 while Canon C. A. Foster was away on a missionary journey.

DMGS has produced most Nigerian men of great worth from the SE like Government College Umahia and Kings College Lagos! Bravo to the folks who graduated from these institutions.
