If only indrive price can be same with bolt, I still prefer it cox it gives you the edge to have control over the route to follow compared to bolt that riders will be feeling so entitled, some will even tell you to take a longer route coz they want to pick someone or branch somewhere..

I don't know if you have observed this, someone will order from Maryland bus stop to ajah under bridge and price will bring 10k and another will order from same Maryland bus stop to Abraham adesanya which is farther than ajah under bridge, but the price will be 9500 isn't that supposed to be more than the person going to ajah under bridge.

This trip is same day and around same time....

Yes I have observed this too. But this is just a function of the dynamic nature of traffic. U can check map now and u see 1hr 15mins and d next minute u refresh u are seeing 59mins or 1h 30mins. So it's no surprise if u experience changes in the fare as u explain.

Also, I noticed Bolt is adding money for distance to pickup. So if ur pickup is farther some money is added to your fare to compensate on dead driving.

Yeah, I've witnessed something like this too, any pickup that is outside of the radius, it does come with surge like 1.2 or 1.3 despite the area not being surge zone...

The prices on Indrive are ridiculously cheap, drivers are picking them up like that probably renegotiating.

I don't want to believe they are picking them up and driving to the rider to renegotiate, and if they are renegotiating on the app, I don't think that will work either.

I can't even stress myself to accept only to start renegotiating, I see those indrive riders as broke people looking for cheap fare.

The few times I tried to renegotiate, riders ask me why did I pick the trip if the price is not okay. I was speechless

You see indrive riders, once you accept their price, forget renegotiating or begging them to add, only 3% of them will agree to adding to it....

I blame indrive for all the ridiculous prices. I had to spend more than an hour at landmark events due to cheap prices on indrive. A lot of guys were complaining on the app about drivers picking the cheap prices.

Someone even suggested that drivers form a WhatsApp group, and bla bla bla.

I can't imagine myself doing an online trip for 15k then using 7litres of fuel which is 7k, & paying 3750 as commission and will be left with 4250. After driving 2hours plus on that trip, my gain will be 4250, drivers are suffering oooo...

In cases like this, I tell the rider that he/she have bonus on the trip and will politely tell the rider to add whatever comes from his/her mind to the fare, I've been lucky tho, most of them do add 1k, some 1,500.

Infact, all the riders have been doing offline with are friendly people and some will even ask me if they can me later for offline....

Many of them don't focus on the actual amount that was crossed, they focus on the discounted amount and when you accept that request, they can't see the actual amount anymore, only discounted amount will be visible to them after accepting the request.

I don't know if your app is different from mine. When request enters on bolt, it just shows you an amount. It won't show you that this is the real amount and this is the bonus given. As it comes in, it just shows you one particular amount. It is when U end trip that you will see bonus.

On your end, you can't see the bonus amount, I'm referring to riders. Maybe if a rider orders now, and the actual fare is 10k and maybe they give rider 1500 discount, you will see 10k on your end but rider will see 8500, you can only tell rider to add whatever to the 8500 at the end of the trip, it still pays you cox if you're to do it online, you will still loose 1k from that 8500 to commission so, I will rather have the whole 8500 to Myself.

In this case, when you ask the rider and he/she shows you 14kplus, just politely say he/she has discount and what you see on your end is 18kplus but he/she can add anything to that 14kplus to cover for any traffic you might encounter, they can add 1k and it still pays you...
