Thank you for your response, I read through other people’s reply and some said my visa won’t be valid by the stated time as I have already deferred for more than 150days(1 academic year) and I’d have to reapply.. this is an awful situation to be in, after all the waiting and all. I’m thinking of sending a heartfelt message to the school if they can reconsider... does anyone think this can work?

I beg to differ! Japan has the 3rd largest economy in the world just behind USA and China, Japan is among the top 10 countries for the best education in the world, above Canada. As a student you work for 28hrs/week. And unlike Canada, it’s not expensive to live there, you spend way less for more value than you can get in Canada and need I say that they also have the best cuisines? With masters in Japan, you can easily transition to the US via PHD.

You said Conestoga revoked your ission. Then you applied for a deferment. For Conestoga to revoke your ission, it means you're no longer itted by the school into any of the academic session. You can't defer what you don't have anymore. You will have to reapply into the same course program. If IRCC Conestoga to confirm your LOA, Conestoga would simply tell them that your ission has been revoked.

At a post-graduate program? Check York University
For colleges, check Centennial, George Brown, Humber or Seneca College. Let me know if you need help securing ission to these schoolss.

No, I have someone who got his visa last year, deferred one, and had to apply to the same school and program since Uni Calgary only allow for 1 deferment, the said person just entered Canada last week. His visa will expire next year dec, and was issued 2 years SP at POE.

They allowed deferral, and currently they are processing the deferral. Just waiting for new LOA

I applied for a study visa in December 2023. I was approved in January 2024 (my studies is to begin in September 2024). I am enrolled in a diploma program in a college.

In April 2024, while I was still in Nigeria, I put in a visit visa application for my wife because they had banned SOWP for spouses of students in diploma programs.

While we were applying for my wife's visit visa in April, I was still in Nigeria so we applied for my wife's visit visa independently and that she's going to Canada as a tourist (tourist visa). I didnt mention my study visa in her application and also used myself her one of her hometies since I was still in Nigeria at the time of applying for her visit visa.

We haven't gotten a decision on her visit visa yet... This month (August) I have now arrived Canada to begin my studies next month (September) and I have gotten my study permit.

My question now is, do you think i should raise a webform on my wife's visit visa application to update IRCC about my studies? Or should we just wait for a decision?

Another thing to note is that my wife is currently pregnant and may deliver this month or next..

So what would you advise we do or how would you advise we proceed at this point? Thanks as I await your responses

You don't need to worry, 3 months to the expiration date you should apply for extension from inside of Canada.

Hi my Ogas please I’d like to just confirm something regarding Pof, my initial application was rejected became of lump sum even though I included the sales documents of the property that was sold. Rn the money(52m) has spent 4 months in my dads bank . I would just like to ask what the best way is.
1. Should we leave the money there for 6 months then apply again? Will that change anything?
2. I read on the thread that people buy GIC, is that a better option?
3. An agent advised that we convert the money to drafts or some form of money market fund
All inputs will be appreciated. I want my next application to scale through without this pof hassle. Thank you all 🙏🏻

Did you request for GCMS note ?

If the funds has been in your sponsor's for 4 months, you should still use the same sales of property to explain the lump and attach other documents to proof the finance of your sponsor.
