Ladies, can you marry someone who lives in rooms like this? What are your thoughts on building a future together with a man in such a living space?

Looks basic

Men defers though but i was in a room and parlor self contained and still refused to marry until i was able to afford 3bedroom. I value privacy as a man and i hate sharing bathrooms with women who has monthly flows. So as a man you gots level up forget those nonsense from broke nairalanders that it is better to beg my brother make money coz life is too sweet when u have money. You will give yourself so much privacy and your wife will worship u.

It's a cute room, but not big enough for children

Many Nigerian Soldiers living in barracks live in one room like this. A two bedroom flat is shared by two soldiers and their families. Shared toilet. Sitting room is usually for the most senior rank.

So, many soldiers (NCOs please) live in places like this.. If you're a junior, your room becomes your everything except kitchen and toilet. And many of them get married and give birth to children there.

Navy and Air Force personnel usually have it much more better though than their army counterparts.

if this is the best that you and your woman can afford, then where is the problem? i dont get it... or do you believe that everyone in Nigeria will have a fantastic life living in a mansion on Banana island? some people out there will live in the above place (or even smaller/shittier) for the rest of their natural lives, and there is nothing wrong with it, if thats the best they can afford.

thats when MATURITY/COMMON SENSE comes into the picture...
A) when you get visitors, they sit on the sofa while you and wifey sit on the bed and manage... or just tell people not to come over because your love nest is too small to accommodate visitors
B) having children is a lifelong decision taken by two adults and not some yeye accident...so until they have a better place, these people should NOT remotely look to have children. why would anyone have children when they dont have the necessary space to raise children properly?!

the reality is that, if you have a woman that loves you unconditionally and vice versa, then you will be comfortable together in such a place, and will make it work regardless of how uncomfortable you guys are. life is not about dreaming of yeye nonsense, but about being grateful for what you got/deserve... what else can these two people do but accept the cards they have been dealt in life? should they go steal/kidnap to make more money? should she go wh0re herself to get more money? this is who they are and what their life is... accept it and be done with the misery, rather than daydream about yeye nonsense.

so many people out there waste so much of their lives seeking for BS while their blessings are right in front of their own eyes. you have a loving partner, you are in good health, you have a small love nest and you can pay your bills and put food on your small table etc...then call that a fukcing blessing.

Better marry those ppl wey dey japa go UK na their kind house be this. You go hear 800pounds or 1200pounds per month.

Mehn if you don't have multiple choices you would learn to be happy with what you have and live life as it is. My own self con is not even as Porsche as this but it is decent enough for me to live as I have provide the basic thing I need to survive
And I am happy with what I have and still hoping for the best
