Controversial Nigerian pastor and founder of Abel Damina Ministries International, Dr Abel Damina has revealed his financial struggles after of his ministry stopped donating to the church.

Damina, known for his controversial gospel teachings, especially the preaching against the remittance of tithe, itted that his ministry suffered huge financial setbacks due to his de novo gospel.

In a video clip currently making the rounds on social media, Damina was heard saying that when he changed his style of teachings particularly on tithe, stopped giving money to the church.

The situation, according to him, led to the shutting down of the Kingdom Live Network Television, Christian satellite TV channel.

He said the church was unable to power the generator during services, stressing that some church staff were laid off because of the financial constraints.

Damina opined that when he started his new style of the gospel, “All of you here, you started dropping change from Keke Napep. I’m not putting it on you but at the same time, I’m rebuking you.

“It means in the first place, you were not giving to God, you were rather giving to yourself because the reason why you were giving was for devourers not to come and not because you loved God.

“Because if it was God you were giving to and you discovered that there is no problem that will happen, you will still be giving. But you were giving because of fear that if you don’t tithe, it will be tight for you.

“Because of that, you were religiously bringing tithe.

“You were never in love with the purpose of God. You were only in love with your selfishness and if you are still giving like that, I put it to you straight not behind you that you are a selfish person.

“You have not understood the riches of God’s grace.

“At a time, all the finances stopped and we were just having little money barely enough to buy half of the diesel to run our generator for services.

“So we could not pay for Kingdom Live Network anymore, so even our staff salaries, we could not pay so we started thinking, should we drop all the staff but if we drop all the staff, ministry will not go on. So mama now started calculating because things were really going bad and really tough.

“So mama said we are not impressing anybody, let’s shutdown the TV station, if God makes money available in the future, we go back.

“So we shutdown the TV and we came to the office, mama said we should look around if there is any staff that we can do without, we can send them parking. So we started doing all of that. Things were really bad. We decided not to go on vacation”.

This man haven't encountered God yet, so many things will sound like fiction to him lol. The day anyone encounters God personally you won't be able to tell what you saw
or experienced cos people will take you for a fool and no one will believe you.

You guys will just go dig an old video and make a post about about it. that video is not recent. in my state, Abel Damina's messages are broadcasted in 5 radio stations and for a time frame of 2 hours each. calculate how much is going into that alone, not to talk of other platforms. he does not collect tithes and he's not begging any one either.

Tithing is fraud. Period

Give wilfully from a cheerful heart, not out of compulsion or gullibility.

In Genesis 14 v 18-20, it was recorded that Abraham paid Tithe to Melchizedek. If any believer today is a child of Abraham and claims that the blessings of Abraham is his or hers, then you shouldn’t dispute that paying tithe is actually Biblical and still relevant till tomorrow.

18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

So before the Levitical priesthood came into being, Him who had the promises(Abraham) was already paying Tithe; and so therefore; Tithing is not just to enrich Pastors, it is a Honor to God whom had given you the power to make wealth.

I know some people who aren’t called have used it to enrich themselves, and made the way of Truth to be evily spoke of; but do not despair; their damnation slumbereth not.

Why did they stop ?

I can't EVER tithe. But I love those who do.

Some people dont read to understand.

A bulk of tithers give because of fear that things will be tight for them not because of intent to please God or move the kingdom of God to the next level.

The moment he opened their eyes they showed their true self.

So if you are tithing to have things happen to you or not happen to you.

Better re evaluate yourself.

That is why most tithers travel out and stop going to church. Because no fear of the unknown

Damina's teachings are actually closer to unadulterated Christianity & is in accordance to Christ's teachings, & teachings of His Disciples & early Christians, as contained in the New Testament.

What most Churches & "Christians" are practising now is a combination of Judaism & Christianity.

All giving in the New Testament must be motivated by love, else there is no reward for it. Give to God because you love Him and want the furtherance of the Kingdom not because you are scared that something bad will happen to you if you don’t.

We should offer ourselves first as a living sacrifice. Giving your body to be burned without being motivated by Love is error.

Tithe

My opinion on tithe.... In the new testament jesus taught us that if your gift is not coming from a cheerful heart God doesn't want it...... Also d widow gave jst a little and God saw her heart, while the rich man gave plenty and his gift was rejected.........

But now you hardly hear, give God your dancing offering.... Na us they spend dis money oh... God doesn't need your money for anything....
