Native rice for lunch. I'm getting addicted to adding fresh curry leaves to my meals, it gives it a whole new flavor.

The time it takes is the downside… but hey, I’ll rather take the time to prepare it than the simple ones that’d probably spike my BS.

It’s quite simple to make though. Blend the cauliflower, squeeze or sieve out the water/liquid, then put it on the stove on medium heat, and keep turning for like 7 minutes.. I use psyllium husk to make it form together. Turn for another 2 minutes… and that’s it.quote author=MrSamsung post=131766256]

Alright then I will go with cauliflower fufu. But to prepare it will not be easy unlike garri or fufu that you can easily buy in the market.

How do you do yours? Because I believe it takes a lot of your time and effort [/quote]

Was desperately hungry and visited Toby Carvery. I don't understand what I ate, I was told to serve myself.

Pudding, mashed potatoes, turkey, beef and pork, greens.

The meat were not properly cooked.

I don't know. I don't know.

Decided to cook and made this Spag, Ketchup, mixed vegetables and egg.

honestly this is irritating to the eyes.
You don't know how to cook.
That meal doesn't look appealing or presentable and I'm sure it'll have a sour and over salty taste.
And na woman you be.

This one Don kolo mental
it's well known that the moniker Mariangeles is having a psychological breakdown.
She used her other named juwessgratitude and created a thread on this forum that she's bipolar, soliciting for help and funds from nairalanders.
She has thousands of monikers while her main handle is the one she uses on this thread.
She also engages on scams, years back she created a WhatsApp group and told us to pay before she adds us to that skill learning group, I and few others sent her the money but she didn't reciprocate.
I'm suspecting a MALE is behind that Mariangeles moniker Maybe that's why HE is ranting and cursing the library guy for exposing HIM

A jobless He-goat is what you are. Don't go and buy food to eat, sit there with hunger in your stomach and be trolling. You are obviously one one the poor nairaland guy that beg up and down.

I wonder why you are insulting me when I'm stating the obvious.
Just because I said you cannot cook you're abusing your generations.
The Truth is bitter and you have no other option but to swallow the bitter pill..
You'll be ignored henceforth.

I recently bought some powdered beans and have been eating akara for a bit. But wouldn't something like what you posted be too oily and soggy?
It does feel a bit funny to ask, cos I love frying bread dipped in egg grin

Made this. It ain't bad. But I definitely prefer bread dipped in egg and fried.

This thread motivated me to start cooking… I just started cooking last year. The biggest motivator is GboyegaD”. His food post always make me look lazy… so I started watching YouTube channels how to make naija foods… that’s how I started cooking… and guess what?? I enjoy it to the fullest… I work from home, so I have all the time to cook and try different naija dishes…. And today, I cook all my food myself…. Even though nah only me dey eat the food for the house…. I used to pay a lady to cook those soups for me, but not anymore…: my soups now make sense the ones they used to make for me lol…

So yes, this thread is a big motivator… Infact, I ed an with Nairaland because of this thread. I’ve been a visitor here for over 12 years…

Love how GboyegaD dey arrange food for plate. Like an artist. It's always beautiful to see.
Haven't yet jumped into cooking a lot. But will snap and post when I do.

In recent times, we do oatmeal or wheat flour.

People in America go bananas over American football 🏈 and they love to tailgate! Here’s a picture of my contribution for today’s pre-game tailgate at the stadium—shawarmas from a YouTube recipe I found. It was easy and the slow roasted meat came out so juicy. I included some rice to go along with meat that my sweetie was grilling. I hope to make these again soon!🤤
