FINALLY found some decent jollof at a reasonable price in Houston. I don't know what happened to the restaurants in Houston. We used to have good Nigerian restaurants now they are all expensive but the food is trash. This one was unexpectedly good and will do till I resume cooking.

Jollof, whole fried tilapia, vegetable and plantain. Fish was so fresh, plantain was perfect, vegetable well seasoned and jollof tasted like party!

I've only ever eaten from one on your list and it was TRASH. The food (yam pottage with beef) from Wazobia was rotten and cost just under $30 without a drink!

I simply slice the plantain on the second blade into the hot oil or on a plate, then mix with salt before pouring into the hot oil.
