lol you think that’s how it works? It’s a standard international practice in the oil and gas Industry…..

For example, Chevron has an already buyer for their crude oil (They are paying taxes to the FG) they have invested heavily in their business and they have the right to sell crude oil to anyone they deem fit.

Even you as a businessman, the FG can’t force you to sell to only local consumers if you are have international buyers who’s ready to buy a good price and in hard currency.

NNPC in the other hand should allocate their crude oil quota to the domestic market.

FG can’t force IOCs to sell their crude oil to Dangote …. Except you want OPEC to sanction Nigeria from selling crude oil to international market (This may affect Nigeria badly and may lead to massive job losses in the industry)

The question we should be asking, What is NNPC doing with their own crude oil allocation…..

You see that NNPC, there’s a massive corruption going on in that corporation that even Tinubu can’t do anything.

If I'm the president of this country, they dare not. This is economy sabotage. I can't have crude then you export under the guise of some practices.
Tinubu should declare the oil sector emergency, direct all OICs to supply crude to the Nigerian refinery if you refuse park and go with heavy sanctions. Nonsense.

Lolz.
My American friend wondered why as a crude exporter we were importing petroleum products. I told him we had poor refining capacity, but that a large refinary was being built.
Today the refinary has been built, we are now an importer of crude oil. No be juju be dat?
We told people nothing good can come out from this set of people they refused, how will the highest beneficiary of importation through coded ownership of oil companies allow his money spinner to end? How will they allow refinary to work when they make billions from importation? Their investments in tank farms etc.

Not exactly true; over the past few years, we have seen western countries override preexisting contracts under the pretext of national security. In the semiconductor market, they have discarded the willing buyer/willing seller policy, time will fall me to talk about their dealings with Gasprom.
Our energy needs is a matter of national security, so therefore indigenous critical infrastructure like the dangote refinery should take preeminence in the buyers market. It's this duplicitous dealings of IOC that made Saudi Arabia, Iran , Qatar and Venezuela nationalize their energy industry, they where feed up of being dictated to by private businesses. Dangote refinery must be treated as a critical national energy infrastructure just like Huawei in china or ASMLC in Taiwan.

Until Nigerians present them with the question....

What is of NIGERIA that is really working for NIGERIANS?

and demand serious figures and facts as means to save their heads or else they will be in deep trouble. These people will not sit tight.

The bold is what Nigerians should fight in all sectors. Everything importation that has rendered local content no longer valuable should be stopped.

All that leakage and the few people living fat on subsidy will run away from this country. Their lives and what they call business is simply dependent on that.

Exporting excess crude or exporting excess refined petroleum product which is more valuable? Some of this people think with thier ass. This could even address the case of stolen crude as especially modular refineries can get product from source

They producers are only interested on immedie gains they're making daily and therefore not ready to let go.
This is how far the country have fallen.

Is it possible in any sane society for any producer to say I refuse to sell to the local market.

In "sane society", the bold is the norm unless the law is changed to compel producers
or their business is illegally seized.
In the latter case, we may have cases of another Chinese seizing Nigerian aircrafts abroad.

By the time OPEC bans your FG from selling crude in the International market then your eyes will clear.

Simple question, What is NNPC doing with their 455k barrels per day crude oil statutory allocation?

Give this information a critical thought first before you comment. Don't be too quick to type senselessly.
NNPC is reneging and relegating it's function and pushing supply of crude to private business and you are saying that federal government should revoke their licenses.
This Dangote refinery business honestly is exposing the rot in the NNPC and cabals at the federal level.
Not that Dangote is a saint anyway. He has enjoyed government's and favouritism over the years. Sometimes, it's best we feel the struggle of those others who do not enjoy the same privilege as you
