You lost it even before you started.

If ur comment is on political or outside educative post, i wouldnt have commented on you.

I took my time to read every comment from beginning until I reached ur comment. Every comentator says something to have meaningful contribution. When it gets to yours! .........

I will be surprised if you ever read a single novel, yet foolish and hopeless guys like you, normaly wail about lady not ready and poor wen discussing issues,. I think someone who silent when discusing issues, is far better than an hopeless guy who has become nuisance to educated topic.

People see you as a lunatic in making, that just started displaying trait of madness, while you mistaken it for arogancy.

Meanwhile, did you even think number of years you will continuing to wail and lameting,...4? 8? 12?

I no pity u o, but mama that give birth to lunatic, mistaken it for glorious child.

Sometimes I wonder how I fell in love with reading novels. I presume it was out of sheer curiosity. Although I no longer read novels, I can't help but reminisce on the good ol' days.

I've read a lot of novels from authors such as Dante Alighieri, Leo Tolstoy, George R.R. Martin, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Stephen King, Dan Brown, Agatha Christie, J.K. Rowling, Mario Puzo, Robert Ludlum, J.R.R. Tolkien, Sidney Sheldon, George Orwell, Tom Clancy, James Patterson and our very own Chinua Achebe just to mention a few.

My personal favourite would be Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

What's yours?
You did not mention James Hadley Chase.,. Omo, you never read better novels from better author.

Thanks. MOTG is without a doubt one of my GOAT novels along with Bloodline but I wanted to only include one novel per author for DEI purposes (lol) so I chose the first Sheldon novel I read that totally made me feel like I was having an unending literary orgasm - Windmills of the Gods.

I don't blame you. The book is a masterpiece! They don't make them like that anymore. Just sex, blood. Occultism, gay stuffs and other whotnot. Pstcheew.

I prayed to God to make me a magician to avoid need to think about money, positions in govt, and other necessities.
So I got up in search of books about magic to buy, when I saw a book seller, selling books on the floor,I stood in search of books about magic.
My search ended when is saw this book "The secret_The magic" by Rhonda Byrne.®️
A book written with a life time experience with people in respect for Thankfulness and Gratitude to God and respect for mankind.🖼️🎨🖌️
I took the book immediately and paid Three thousand one hundred naira 3️⃣1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣for the book, well I don't know why the hundred naira was added but I paid for it and took it.📙
I can never stop reading that book even when am happy or sad, at the back of the book i started writing numerological numbers in multiple sequences.🖋️🎲3️⃣6️⃣9️⃣🔟🗝️✔️
I just hope i would become a magician and help others financially with all gratitude to God.🌎💯
this book is powerful.. I read it in 2018. I felt something while reading it. It's one book I can never forget...

Believe me bros, something happened to me while reading this book. Power is real.

Looking for a book titled, "Candle in the wind" by Nyengi Koin.

It's about a man that fell in love with, Mrs. Kòfowórolá, the class teacher of his daughter after he lost his wife for many years.

A bend in the road.SYDNEY SELDON
Starboytwo(m): 11:57am On Aug 20, 2024
Reading through the pages made me realized I've read a couple of books myself.

Many different poster mentioned Sydney Sheldon. I think I've read just one of Sydney Sheldon, can't but I will look for the author and read more of her/his work.

Must be one hell of an author to have many poster talk about it.

This thread is beautiful. Brought so many sweet memories. Saw many books I love and read.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe.
Sir Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series

Honorable mention-Charles Dicken's Oliver Twist, Chaka The Zulu(forgot the author), King Jaja of Opobo, Buchi Emecheta's Joys of Motherhood

I think it's hard for us to all those novels. I mean these were secondary school days

What is crazy is how real that book is.

In that book, the political system was ended by a coup

In last than two years, the then first Republic was also ended in a bloody coup
