It's a good idea and welcome development.
But the FG has not spoken on the safety standards of such modification put into a vehicle?

Many vehicles have being using it in Benin City since 2016.

Indians have being using it, you can read from their testimonies.

You're so right! Being compressed means it has a high tendency to explode. People may wan to overfill in hopes of lasting longer. It's utterly dangerous. It shouldn't bee in boots, they should redesign the cinders to fit somewhere underneath the car, away from the hot exhaust pipe.

What if the gas explode while the vehicle is in motion, with engers inside.....i go dey trek from now on,i hate stories that touch undecided undecided undecided

FORGET IT!
Nigeria can NEVER be good. Atleast not in our time. Nigerians are too EVIL to get the benefit of the ALMIGHTY LORD.
As great as this presidency is trying, it's so surprising that some still hate Tinubu just because of tribe and greed. I won't be surprise. Ghadafi did far more to Libyans.

The Real Reasons why Gaddafi was ki!!ed

1. Libya had no electricity bills, electricity came free of charge to all citizens.

2. There were no interest rates on loans, the banks were state-owned, the loan of citizens by law 0%.

3. Gaddafi promised not to buy a house for his parents until everyone in Libya owns a home.

4. All newlywed couples in Libya received 60,000 dinars from the government & because of that they bought their own apartments & started their families.

5. Education & medical treatment in Libya are free. Before Gaddafi there were only 25% readers, 83% during his reign

6. If Libyans wanted to live on a farm, they received free household appliances, seeds and livestock.

7. If they cannot receive treatment in Libya, the state would fund them $2300+ accommodation & travel for treatment abroad.

8. If you bought a car, the government finances 50% of the price.

9. The price of gasoline became $ 0.14 per liter.

10. Libya had no external debt, and reserves were $150 Billion (now frozen worldwide)

11. Since some Libyans can't find jobs after school, the government will pay the average salary when they can't find a job.

12. Part of oil sales in Libya are directly linked to the bank s of all citizens.

13. The mother who gave birth to the child will receive $5000

14. 40 loaves of bread cost $0.15.

15. Gaddafi has implemented the world's biggest irrigation project known as the "BIG MAN PROJECT" to ensure water availability in the desert.

Yet Libyans ( like Nigerians), killed him ( like Yaradua) and where are we now??
Bring Jesus to be president of Nigeria. HE WILL FACE SAME FATE!

the issue with this CNG thing is that people don't trust it . even government officials are not using it, the same politicians talking about it are not even using it themselves.
another is the sustainability of the scheme and program, this is a country where politicians change policies as if they are changing their pajamas, what is the assurance that tomorrow another government won't come in and throw away this policy?

cheesy

From the end of July till Mid-August, FG has embarked on hundreds of feasible and viable projects that will go a long way to ease the hardship on the masses

You can liken this to a sowing season. All hundred should be ripe by October.
A huge Crash in fuel price, increased farm yield and abundance of CNG buses means December promises to be the harvest season for us all cheesy

God bless PBAT
God bless Nigeria

Lol. Until drivers start gnawing their teeth because they can no longer afford the price of CNG grin grin grin

Their tax is working and it's visible. Here in Nigeria, the tax and income from other sources are looted.

The commercial buses in Lagos (nicknamed Danfo) are not road worthy.. most of the drivers take all manner of unholy drinks before they hit the roads. They are completely unprofessional, don't know most traffic rules/never obey them and put "money must be made" before the safety of engers. If this is the reality in Lagos, I don't know how other states are.

So my question is, how can this kind of people ensure safety of engers on our roads with this CNG initiative?

Secondly, does the government truly care about her citizens safety on the roads? My reasons are not far fetched - in Lagos, vehicle inspectors don't stop Danfo buses but harass the living day out of private car owners. How are the drivers/owners of these rickety vehicles untouchable by government/law enforcement?

Another question is, why is it that those in leadership, up to our local government councils, don't take commercial buses in Lagos? I'm not even sure they take BRT buses that they always roll out with such pomp and pageantry. Why?? Can someone on Nairaland help me to understand abeg. Is it different in other states? Is this a general leadership style in the country?
