You should know some of the events that happened in Fire and Blood were described by the views of the narrators and so the perspective of what happened might be biased depending to which side the narrator skews to.

If anything, King Aegon IV should be blamed for partly for the demise of thw Targaryen line with his stupid decision to legitimise all his b@stards which led to another civil war — The Blackfyre Rebellion.

Midnight mass is a solid 7/10 for me.
Somehow a slow burner but if you stay for long and endure till episode 4, you will begin to understand what's going on, every conversations you have heard in the past and the reasons for all of the sudden miracles and more.

You know this series kind of revealed the dark sides of religion that sadly most people don't know.
Many of the clergymen and women you hold in high esteem have all pledged their loyalties to fallen angels and demons and the miracles you see that they do, are all made possible by these fallen angels.
Religion and tradition is one scary aspect of life and that if you are not careful and think for yourself, you will just be played all through your life like a puppet and a fool.

Anyways it's a nice series and was totally enjoyable and revelatory.

Vhagar is petty and vengeful. But she will just foolishly die in that scene. Taking on 3 midsized dragons was suicid@l. Talk more of the battle hardened dragons with experience and close size disparity.

Superb episode from HOTD....

What I really don't like is if they somehow make Rhaena be able to claim Sheepstealer (obviously the dragon laying siege on the sheeps in the Vale).

Seems we won't be seeing Nettles.


One thing I like about HOTD this season is how the showrunnners are dispelling the stupid myth propagated by some Daenaerys fans during GOTs run that a true Targaryen can't be burnt by fire. We've seen countless Targaryens cooked by fire.

There's also the subtle thing I noticed: the show is already foreshadowing Rhaenyra's future in a subtle way. Although, only book readers will probably notice it. It's in her eyes in each of these dragon claiming rituals.

Na so GOT fans dey shout back then say Dany no suppose craze for the final season with what she did unto King's Landing. Something wey subtle signs don dey dey since S5.

One thing I somehow found odd is barely any mention of [i]Balerion The Black Dread [/i]especially when that dragon wasn't dead for too long ago not to be ed being the biggest ever (even bigger than Vhagar). What's even more weird, Viserys I was the actual last rider of the said dragon. Yet little mention of it despite the frequent history lessons we'd been given this season.
Tho I think iirc Balerion was minutely talked about in S1 or his skull was shown in one of the room Viserys was showing Rhaenyra?? Or I'm hallucinating.
Anyways, look forward to seeing it in the Aegon's Conquest show.

This season is in no way as solid as S1 cos there's so many boring details they've got to deal with, I'm enjoying it all the same, but it's still solid so far.

Excellent world building and impressive character development coupled with insane acting performances from the cast.

I will still say it again and again.
A very big kudos to those in charge of the wheel of time.
The surprisingly and unbelievable season 2 they gave to us was like times 1 million upgrade from season 1.

For worth it's worth, house of dragon season 2 has been mild so far and if we are being honest, the season 1 has proven to be better than season 2.
