Bros Dele Momodu has a degree in Yoruba so should not be crucified o!
Reno is ionately defending this government with facts even better than the Media Assistants to the President.
They should all be sacked and the job given to Reno and Bwala.

Reno is trying so hard to get a job from this government. A government that has rendered once average families paupers. Giving them sleepless nights as to how to provide basic needs and essentials.

A party he was vocal against has turned all of a sudden his darling party.

Wetin poverty nor fit do nor Dey exist.

That writeup sounds like a man that is doing his job smiley
A jobless reno won't sell the IMF projection that was downgraded to 3.1% as an indice of progress

I don’t reply idiots like you. But since your first words are slur words, I have to.
Basically I know your post is a justification of your zombiesm earning peanuts per month while the life of your generation is being ravaged by those who pay you to lick the ass.

Your ilks gestured on Bubu with wild goose chase of agricultural self reliance while in reality it’s a wild goose.
Mr fool, did you know we were getting a bag of foreign stone free rice at 8k per bag till fools like you propelled it to 80k and stony with we must farm locally BS ideology?

And for being a bigger fool, did you know Nigeria relies majorly on export and that’s not agriculture?

So, when next you wanna act the fool, do so with your likes. slowpoke

Today, you justified the statement - Silence is golden.

You could have not made any rebuttal as you just have eggs smeared on your face - You are now looking like a clown.

Read my post again, you would realise you were off point with your rebuttal. You did not address a single thing which was a testament that you are deficient in comprehension.

Next time, do not allow your fingers to be in overspeed beyond your diminishing brain grin grin grin

Hopefully, the s who pushed the blatant lies in Dele Momodu’s post to front page will also push this well articulated response to front page at the right time as well for balanced reading.
but when he was attacking tinubu, he was not sensible... una mumu never do ronus

Shei now we go chop stats? What is not Logical and sound when someone asked "What is growth, if not reflected in the life of the citizens? Are we growing from what to what?

You don't celebrate a goal when the referee have not decided. In democratic settings, citizens are the referees and they are asking "where is the growth and its impact?

Can we stop all these tantrums that coarses and deprives people the opportunity to contribute?

Mr. Remo, I think you are being driven by the desire for better Nigeria due to your hard stand on former istration, the reason for doing that is now visible even to the blind. Now. on your reply to good advise from Dele Momodu. I will lend my view point by point as you raised them.
1. On the economic policies being pursued by this istration, that has brought untold hardship on Nigerian in which the President and his wife have acknowledge, were dictated by the same IMF, so you want them not to score themselves high by given this projection, and mind you the projection may never be turned to reality.
2. Trade supposed did not come as a result of any increase in export, but because Nigerians is now so poor that they cant hard afford two square meals and the propensity for foreign goods has become nearly zero, except politically exposed persons, surplus of trade balance was caused by reduced import, not exportation of more goods, including reduction of import on refined crude.
3. Also, mr Remo, increase in allocation you talked about does not come as a result of any productive activities, it came as a result of subsidy removal, increase in tax and floating of exchange rate, then are you proud that these policies that brought this harassing should be celebrated by any sane man? on the alter of increased allocation to sub-federation.
4. You talked about increase in capitalisation at stock exchange, this shows that you lack basic economic principle, capitalisation comes as a result of saving, in a situation where more than 65% of Nigerians can hardly afford two meal in day, where will the surplus to be traded at capital market in exchange floor comes from, the little increase you see there, is as a result of politically exposed individual who have stole too much and are hiding their loots at the exchange market, it has nothing to do with generality of Nigerians. That is why mr. President is pleading for more time, because he has not lost in touch with the reality as some senators alleged.

na statistics we go chop?all this figures are phantom and what matters most to the ordinary citizens is the purchasing power of the money they have,,if you and your spouse is earning minimum wage with one painter of rice at #6000 and beans at #8000,and everything increased by 200% how can they survive, that is the major issue, not figures that does not translate to reality on the local markets

All this nonsense reply as a citizen you should ask yourself " Am i better of last year than i am this year "...all reno is reeling off is the macroeconomics of the state of nigeria inflated figures i must add.

Lets go down to the microeconomics of it how it affect every citizen thats a more import indices
FatherLord: 1:20pm On Jul 19, 2024
If all this statistics are anything to go by how come it’s becoming increasingly difficult for an average Nigerian to afford a regular meal . A daily man only measures a good government if he can feed and shelter himself and family.

With all this positive stats how come the cost of rice , beans and others household items are still skyrocketing

Response To My Beloved Senior, Dele Momodu: Nigeria's Economy Is Not Collapsing. Far From It!

Reno Omokri

It's only fools and hero- worshippers that will compare the letter of Dele Momodu to that of Reno. Omokri.
It's only the educated illiterates and the pure illiterates that will be clapping for Reno Omokri and his reply.
Reno's reply may sound so nice to believe, when compared with that of Dele Momodu, but what is the meaning of having a surplus in foreign trade and having a robust and improved All Share Index, when the citizens are dying of hunger and poverty? Of what use is that.
What is the implications of those figures churned out by Reno, when inflation and unemployment rate in Nigeria is over 40%
Juxtapose to the kind advise given by Dele, to the unfortunate response from Reno.
Nigerian Youths need employment, more than that thrash from Reno.
Nigerians want better condition of living better than what Reno is posting.
Some years back, the Nigerian economy was re- based and we were said to be the biggest economy in Africa, worth over $500b, The opposition then , of which Tinubu and those in his were , kicked against the re- basing, then when the unemployment rate and inflation was below 25%
The economy then, even better than now, was condemned by the opposition, how do you now praise an economy with over 40% in both unemployment and inflation are good and robust?
Reno should be discarded. He's the kind of ers in PDP, that should be discarded.
danzaki63: 1:56pm On Jul 19, 2024
For once, Reno, i beg to disagree, you are over there churning out academic statistic that wont put cheap food on our table.
Right now, you dont know the price of Gari, Sugar, Rice, Palm oil, Meat, Yam, and other things in the market.

Do you know how many people who had sold their vehicles to feed?
Do you know the numbers of vehicles out of road cos of fuel?
Do you know how many people who cannot afford drugs ?

So dont feed me with all those IMF induced statistics.

Hunger dey for town.

Until the government tacle that, we are behind Momodu.

Yes, there’s hunger in the land due to the nail biting reforms but the leading indicators point to a slow and gradual recovery

Reno has always been clueless even under Jonathan's government he was same. undecided

From a 1 sided analysis obviously it looks sensible and cute on paper until u put other financial and economic consideration and implications like our dead currency, hyperinflation and debt servicing to tell u how worthless and redundant everything reno said is.
Please reel out the facts to counter what Reno said! Whenever Reno comes firing on all cylinders like this you don't fine one, bar none, who ever comes along to puncture his submissions.

Yes, the current realities doesn't make anything he says make sense BUT building anything worthwhile takes TIME. This government with long term maturing policies need to as matter of urgency think short term measures to cushion the harsh realities too and this is where they seem to be failing.

P.S: I told one "chronic" obidient that for the fact the likes of Reno still hold sway without one of them shutting him up with empirically verifiable facts shows the emptiness that their "movement represents"- a people peopled by people with cobwebs between their ears! All you see are slurs peddled, just like on this thread, no depth!

I am not an economist but common sense tells me that sometime in the past our mothers drank garri while sending us to university in order for us to gain a better life than them. Now they achieved their goal with us and they can eat the fruit of their labour. Same way with economy. Temporary discomfort for better future are not strange. America, UK, China all ed through their birth pains to reach where they are today. Even great China devalued it's currency at some point and it was tough for Chinese. We can't continue running our economy the way it had been run since independence. We need to change it. Only a man keeps doing something the same way and expects a different outcome. Garbage in, garbage out. Let's allow Tinubu's different approach for once.

Useless comment.

Keep fooling yourself.

What has he done differently?

Direct your questions to the labour unions. We all saw how happy they were with Tinubu yesterday. It was amicably resolved unlike your principal Obi who allowed doctors to go on strike for 8 months in Anambra during his tenure. Imagine if he had won the elections he would have instigated a national strike. Also ask those that started collecting their student loans same yesterday. Oga, stop focusing on the negative and ignoring the positives. Nah election Tinubu won he no steal your wife. Of course there is hardship but he is taking the right steps to bring down inflation. Only fools will not be able to see that Tinubu has good intentions for Nigeria.

There are many Obidents who can actually counter reno with facts even Peter Obi himself is capable of doing that but he stop low to rent's level.

The issue is those who are following with herd mentality are usually more or louder and this is not just with Obidents but any party group.

For example, Nigeria is now a net exporter of CLEMENT to Europe and a growing exporter of refined petroleum products to Europe and West African states. Ghana, a fellow petroleum exporting country, is largely dependent on LPG from Nigeria. This projects growth, not collapse.

is Nigeria really exporting the above
