The only thing that will convince me you're not a bot or a troll is that you're an older person that don't use the internet to do stuff for yourself. You were asking about what flight to book. But at the same time, you don't know TLS , the agency that collects ports for visa application.

You can start using LinkedIn and set parameters on the roles you wanted ,the country, sponsorship et al. I always advice applying directly to the company . A lot of people have testified using indeed, you may try that. Also, you may Check Amazon e.g AWS sites, Google, Facebook, tik tok for software developer roles. If you want big 4, check website directly too. Many times you will get a lot of rejection but don't panic, just ensure you are consistent md submitting at least 5 applications in a day. I tell you, one will work and you will get fully paid sponsorship job from Nigeria that will take care of your flight and even accommodation for some period .

If I had years of experience and maybe masters, I would even apply for band 7 even.

You need to see how my employers are so pleased with the little experience I have it's a big deal to them but these ones have carried the Nigerian mentality of spending decades before you can aspire to be big.

Someone even told me that whoever interviewed and gave me the band 6 is drunk because band 6 isn't meant for starters. This lady is a band 7 psych nurse herself o but so myopic.

Until we decide to be open minded and explore possibilities, we won't grow.

Stop projecting. Before, you guys said general nursing band 6 straight from Nigeria is hard and Psychiatric nursing band 6 is ok, now it's the other way round. Nothing is impossible for a mind who is ready. Even If you were a professor before coming, you would be trained and go through preceptorship. Any diligent and smart person should cope afterwards.
Whats the big deal they do?? Do you know the training and experience some of us went through in Nigeria? I think those of you saying this studied abroad so you're limited.
Nigerian curriculum and work environment will grill you that you will cope anywhere. Wish people well and take chill pill. Other people's downfall won't help you in any way

You were only talking based on your experience......I know quite a few people who got band 6 from Nigeria, some where placed on the highest rung of band 5 while some where placed at the lowest. Though they will be at band 4 till their pin is out.

And I have seen some who came in within 6months-1year got band 6....... nothing is actually impossible. Infact people have moved from band 5 to 7.

Band 5 to 7 is common. Band 6 after 6months is common so I don't understand their headache with 6 straight from Nigeria.
I can count more than 10 with cos/visa for band 6 right now all gotten within the last few weeks.
Even I would be placed on the highest scale of band 6 based on my experience (cv, how I performed in interview).

This isn't show off but encouraging others who might come across this. I hate misinformation with ion. We are talking about people's future here. Many people would have been in the UK by now if they knew they could apply to band 6 but their IELTS, CBT results are rotting away.
