I feel for those areas that have been resisting every attempt by government to clear all the houses built on waterways and canals, they are in for a long thing
If you want to buy property or rent a house,this is the best time to go about it,imagine renting a house and you start getting apprehensive anytime it rains
I will stop here and tell you,if you want to get a property use a professional that understands the topology of the area
Start with a surveyor before you bring any other professional for landed property,you can sue them if they misadvise you

They need a massive drainage system at that spot. All these media show will not avert the next flooding in that area

The flood was man made, if those obstacles were not there, there will be no blockages. Same thing on Lekki /Ajah axis.
