It is easy to get a good relationship if you are beautiful, well educated and financially stable.

Sharon, trust me, poverty or sapa can make somebody to sell herself.

I sincerely do not understand the premise of this argument myself, I was trying to follow-up the conversation from the get-to but couldn't keep up. So we have a Muslim man who wants to marry a second wife but Christians or non-christians on the forum are all upset that a muslim man wants to do just as a Muslim man would do.

There is also another narrative that she suffered with him which was not true because he got his job and built himself up on his own.

The wife being against it is not a surprise because she has to defend her territory due to what the religion allows. It is also acknowledged that very wealthy muslim individuals end up being polygamous, EG: Sanusi Lamido as being one of those enlightened muslims that are still polygamous.

Polygamy used to be a normal part of our culture in Africa and that fact has never been in contention for hundreds of years.

The reason we are having this discussion is because of the encroachment of Christianity coupled with western cultures that have crept into our traditions and culture. I will never be polygamous as I love to have a baby mama and live separately without any woman encroaching into my life. What I meant in my post is you sound very confident and have everything worked out, but it is never that easy. It is usually easier to postulate than practice.
