Please, what does a man who did change of name need to do to renew his expired port and also effect the changed name? He has done the correction/update on his NIN. I'll appreciate all the help we can get from here. Thank you.
Note: He deposed to an affidavit already and has done newspaper publication.

Application letter stating reasons for the request and attached with evidence of payment of non-refundable istrative charge of ₦30,000.00 only.

Sometimes the tracking page may still be on Issuing while the port has been issued already... right?

We want to do it DIY that's why I'm seeking this clarification. The agent we ed charged 185k which is think is on thr high side.

Click on apply for correction of data. Enter your NIN for verification. Proceed with your application as soon as your NIN verification is successful.

I just came back from the immigration office in Benin city. I went with my sister to capture and she’s a DIY candidate. We got there by 8am and the lady doing the payment confirmation came late, they took over 3hours to attend to us. By past 10am, they confirmed it and when went downstairs for verification and afterwards, capturing where they demanded another 1k. We spent around 4hrs in total there and aside the previous listed shortcomings, the process was smooth.

You need NPC. If you go with age declaration, they will try to extort you. Best of luck.

Please my place of birth on nin is showing ikpoba okha LGA but on my birth certificate is oredo LGA ,but it's the same state will it affect my port when I want to do it?

You'll need age declaration from a court.

Yes. You pay online, a court affidavit and get the soft copy in minutes.

Get the NPC birth certificate. You will still need it for your visa applications or when you leave Nigeria. It’s 3k

It’s either you were born in Ikpoba Okha or you were born in Oredo. Stick with what’s on your NIN. Even if they capture you, you may encounter NIN verification issues. Also there’s a reason there are several LGA in a state. They are all not the same thing.

You should state one of the following as reason(s) for renewal: exhausted visa pages, damaged port, lost port or change of data due to error.

New port not renewal and I never collected it oo maybe is because I used DIY.
