Goodluck Jonathan fought the NFF because of the same issue. Lack of ability. When it comes to team sponsoring, the NFF always run to Ministry of Youth and Sports. NFF hardly sponsor these things to the best of my knowledge.

I don't think there is any FA in Africa that gets money from CAF and FIFA for participating in international tournaments like the NFF.. Almost every year, our national teams participate in one or two international tournament.... but every year, we hear of the NFF owing coaches salaries and players bonuses... when you add money obtained from sponsorship deals and from FG, it becomes clear that those people are nothing but thieves...
