We are talking of food security. Imagine what these Fulani Herdsmen are doing to this farmer's crop. They are even bold enough to record their action on camera. I think it's high time government should criminalized their excesses and treat their treses and willful destruction of farm products as criminal act.

" I think it's high time government should criminalized their excesses..."

Except government don't care.

This is PURE evil. Destroying another person's livelihood to enrich yours.

These herdsmen will NOT stop unless they are stopped with a GREATER BRUTALITY.

Farmers and their communities need to drop hoes and wheelbarrows, it's time for GUNS and CUTLASSES.

The ONLY reason they continue their attacks is because the people they attack refuse to fight back. Their victims still look to the government for help.

Violence and slaughter is not exclusive to the herdsmen and they are not immune to fear and death.

They are just NOT facing any resistance.

Imagine DESTROYING a person's livelihood so deliberately and calmly and then making a video to post on their TikTok channel.

They could do that because there is no REPERCUSSIONS for their actions.

If a community of farmers had banded together to attack the CRIMINALS and slaughtered them along with their Cattle then LEFT them to rot in the farm as fertilisers, they will learn to thread with caution.

Repeat this 10 to 15 times. Use at least 150 herdsmen and a 1000 cattle as fertilisers. Let them learn that to invade a farmland is to become fertiliser.

Sit back and watch them BEG for ranches.

The most annoying things is that, these things has been going on for years and nothing happens. Imagine, you're not free and safe on your own land. They don't care if you're around the farm or not to graze on your farm. Impunity of the highest order

Growing up as a kid, herders would stop by our family house to fetch our tap water with permission. We were friendly with most of them and I thought they were nice people.

Fast forward.... A different breed of Fulanis have taken over the country. They are evil, ruthless and ready to kill. The Government is not helping matters with the manner they are treated with kid gloves. And this brings us to the issue at hand.

Most of the cows you see are not directly owned by these Fulanis. They were purchased by top politicians and Government officials, and handed over to the herders to be managed.

Even David Mark used to own so many cows at some point. Now, do you see why it will be difficult to tame the herders?

Well said, and I agree with you. These present breed of Fulanis herders are different from those one we grew up to know.but,if people, (farmers ) makes up their minds to defend themselves, the end may be worse than the END SARS saga.

I believe these people are sponsored. Whenever the farmers react, police/army would intervene to arrest the locals. In event that the confrontation with Fulani cows and their herders turn brutal and the Fulani or the cow does, they’ll mobilise and come back to attack the farmers in the night.

This is the real Matter Arising. Yet so many dumbbells think salary increments is the solution!
The day Farmer's Association across state are ready to declared a 5-day strike, is the day Government will abruptly address this threat to live and livelihood!

Rubish!
Sebi you guys are still seeing 4pieces of bell peppers to buy at N1000 that's why it's still rubish. By the time you can't even see the scent of any foodstuffs to buy again at 1million, the ensuring protest will compel the government to sit up to it's responsibility and address this menace once and for all!

The Bororo, a subgroup within the Fulani, are known for their extreme violence. They dont practice any known religion, they kill other Fulanis and steal their livestock.
They are often responsible for many of the crimes attributed to the Fulani.
Unfortunately, when the Bororo strike any community and flee most communities will take their revenge on other Fulanis escalating the violence which will eventually lead to reprisals.

Nigeria is not a serious country....

We can never grow as long as we are still together. As long as the security structure of this country lies at the center, this menace won't stop.

Let the locals try to mobilize against the heardmen then see the military in action.

These are the brute beasts APC government said Nigerians should dwell in peace with, to bequeath ancestral lands for especially that infamous satanic call by Femi Adesina( Buhari’s spokeman) and the RUGA land grabbing quest?

Wickedness is when government ignore incident like this and blame the farmers for not been hospitable to fulani who they call their neighbours. Same with Buhari who blamed farmers for not being hospitable when herdsmen go and rampage.
