Multichoice had the guts to increase their fees for a service that is NOT pay as you watch because Nigeria is a country where anything goes and they don't have serious competitors.

It's easy to regulate and tackle the public sector. Good one from the judiciary and Multichoice. Hope prices of PMS, diesel, gas, foid stuff, forex e.t.c , will also revert to old prices. 57 Likes 1 Share |

Pay per view or nothing. Waiting for emergency lovers of Nigeria to start wailing on behalf of Multi-choice . How can a reasonably person prefer an international company to exploit is country just because they lost an election ![]() 75 Likes 3 Shares |

They are only hiding behind the court order to find a soft landing. The last price increases pushed many subscribers over the edge and they stopped the subscription. Many used to subscribe just out of habit even when they rarely watch TV. That's stopping now. 150 Likes 8 Shares |

Startime have ed the madness too. A subscription I did on the first of this month have been marginally increased within a space of 10 days. Imagine I did 3800 naira smart dht sub later to receive message from them on the 9th that sub is now 4200 naira. What could be the reason for the increase. I am using one eye dey reason my mx9 android tv box. It's like all cable TV will be abandoned

Hopez456: It’s disorganized. Dstv knows they have a very good product that no one else is close to matching, that’s why they keep increasing their fees without remorse. There’s zero competition 90 Likes 3 Shares |

If the adjustment is true, know it that it has nothing to do with the court orders. The boycott is the real deal ![]() 92 Likes 5 Shares |

Lol. What do you expect, after SA, their home country has ditched them. Other African countries are following suit right now. But in Nigeria, anything goes due to bad leaders who don't care about the people they govern, the masses. It's not a good time for multichoice right now as they're ready to sell out the company to a serious buyer. They can't joke with Nigeria, their major market right now

If the average Nigerian earns 100K per month, I don't think they will put 25-37%of their earnings on TV subscription.

When will the same court order those who are into foodstuffs and other essential items to also bring down their prices which they increases daily? This is nothing but discrimination and selective justice.
