I went through a link someone posted here and the Teer work category extended beyond 3. 4 to 5 is included. This is indeed a breath of fresh air for peeps that their spouse has gotten PGWP visa.

Regarding the proof of funds for the spousal of an international student who is already in Canada, I called the IRCC, and I was told that it is not required to determine the eligibility.

However, I was advised to have it ready in case the officer requested for it. I posted sometimes ago that I didn't see an option to a financial documents or proof of funds.

POF should be a major criterion for eligibility. Don't fall for any tricks please

You can apply for visiting visa.. Canada allow dual intent.
i also did reconsideration but still waiting for outcome so put in for visiting after a month.

1. That applicant was applying for study permit and didn't show the funds required for studying.

And this was incorrect. It was purely work permit.

2. Applicant didn't explain lump sum.

It depends. It could be earlier or longer than the official processing time. Average processing time is often 10-12 weeks.

2. I hv 10m in my since Sept 2023 used for the first application if I am adding to it based on new rules is the previous 10m still a lump sum or I should only do a gift deed for the new money I am adding or do I sum all together and do I gift deed.
3. What evidence can my sis show aside bank statement and proof of relationship. She sell soaps in large quantities and deal with different companies
4. On the other can my dad be a new sponsor, a retiree no inflow in his s.

Would have been better if you attached the GCMS notes, I suspect that the main issue was source of funds not the adequacy of the funds in your first application.
1. Check the new POF requirements to see what you need for your family size.

Like I suspected, the source of your POF was not explained exhaustively backed with documents, you need to show them HOW you got the POF either from your salary earnings or business profits or donations from your relative. Then back your words with documents like pay slips, employment letter, etc

When did u submit your visitor application?
once all the info are updated on ur profile, in 2days time you should be able to track it.

It will update automatically show on your tracker under the work permit closed application.

I guess 21k is standard for living expenses for student applicant because he or she will rent apartment to start with and other bills.

If a spouse is 8ng him or her, he or she cannot be subject to same 21k so the 7k plus slack suffice since they can co-live with student spouse to minimize cost of living.

No sir/ma, the 21K is for the principal applicant, there are some costs that a dependent will not incur again, cost like housing and utilities. The ideal thing to do is to show a minimum of 7k, not just exact 7k, build some slack into the amount so that it is not considered to be on the bother line.

Hello House! I need directions oo. Im in the process of applying for SOWP for my husband. I am on a PGWP, but i dont see any other segment for proof of relationship and proof of funds just the normal imm forms. Please im i doing this the right way. My husband is the principal applicant
