65k . The state governors said they ain’t paying anything more than 70k ! Even the irrigate sectors too. But come to think of it, some states still pays 18,000 as minimum wage, in this same Nigeria .

But my concern now is the 30k minimum wage of since 2019 hasn’t been implemented in some states till now. The ones that pay 30k borrows loan from federal govt to pay salaries! Only few states have been able to pay salaries! So tell me what the situation would be after arriving at 65-70k minimum wage? E go burst o

We know that 494k may not be realistic but at least 150k minimum wage should be a starting point. People are suffering and government officials are comfortable. Take home is not taking anyone home anymore. Based on current Nigeria situation now ooo, anything less than 150k should be met with....... Help me complete the english 1 Like |

The decision of this committee will determine the future of this country and the economy. If NLC wins then the country will be plunged into hardship but if they agree to government they can negotiate better options for accepting their offer which will improve the economy and conditions of the entire country and not just the workers. Make things cheap and affordable for the common man should be the goal and that includes subsidies in fuel, electricity, grains and transportation. If NLC succeeds with their bid even by half of it, expect government taking a huge chunk back from that money through tax and removal of subsidies and eventually inflation. The workers will have money at month end and beg after two weeks. The unemployed will be left to their fate. God help us. 2 Likes |

Kellie069: It's funny how government is so swift to increase enumeration for the political and ruling class without thinking of the cost implications, but suddenly turn "economists" when it comes to improving the lives of civil servants and average Nigerian citizens. 2 Likes |

The tripartite committee should be stripped of everything, taken to a face me I slap you compound, they should live dia on 60k a month for 3 months with their families, After 3 months, they should come and sit down and determine the real living wage, let's see if they will still be talking about 60k.
