Vice chancellors looking for 9 distinctions in all subjects nor be 5 credits in two sittings he take enter school? Since Nigeria begin to have lawyers as minister for aviation and professors being vice to sch cert lipsrsealed We have indeed lost our stands.
By the way, if only Nigeria government can prioritize sch cert, and make it have weight like before, universities will continue to produce battalions.
Not everyone will like to go to university.
Bring back sch cert of old, where you can apply for jobs with it and earn living.

Who send me sef??

Who are the employers or the patrons? That's how you breakdown this type of article. A field could have someone earning N4m per annum but with less than 20 openings/opportunities available at any point in time for 150,000 graduates in the field.

Especially Law, petrochemical and electrical engineering. Pharmacy pays more. You can push drugs to whom it may concern with your licence.

If you believe that some courses are irrelevant in Nigeria, I will not disagree. Some even argue that even before the internet existed, these courses were what they are now. They aren’t just feasible. The spread of digitisation and technical innovation has made some fields more demanding. Yes, everyday discoveries tend to relinquish the importance of so many fields in schools. Notwithstanding, some courses are still performing exceptionally well in the labour market—both profitable and useful.

It is no more about course you study.

It is about how skilled you are in your chosen craft.

The world has changed, and the world is always screaming for "real life problem solvers" and not paper tigers.

Outdated article. If you asked me this question 20 years ago, this will have been my response. It’s the The Nation newspaper, so not surprised.

So because it is Nation Newspaper,is there no truism in it?
If it's Arise Noise Making Outlet,it is okay!

There is nothing like "high" paying courses in Nigeria. Read your respective courses and graduate with good 2.1 or first class. Then, proceed and develop your data skills, quantitative and mathematical skills, writing skills, job search skills, networking skills and street smart skills, You may not be far from achieving modest success in your job hunting.
