OK unlike normal wire that send electricity the optical Fibre sends light so liken the case when there is a cut in a normal wire the flow of electricity will be cut short same thing happens for the optical fibre found in the car stereo so the transparent straw helps to reflect the light so as to direct the light back into the other half that is cut

Hey everyone, my relative's 2006 ml350 is having this issue when the battery runs down overnight. He has went to different diagnosis but none has been able to detect the fault. It's so bad that if the car is jumped after some few hours the battery can run down if the car is parked. Please any tip or solution to it

They should scan it...it might even be the art wire ...a good scan with Benz OBM will show it

I have been using Mobil 5W-30 for my Mercedes W211, however as a result of increase in price of Mobil oil I want to change to Total engine oil, which is more cheaper. when went to filling station to buy the oil I don't understand grading of Total oil as the grade is not so to clear unlike Mobil oil that the grade is clearly written on the galloon, for those using Total oil, please what is the equivalent of Mobil 5W-30 in total Oil. and also will their be any negative impact on my engine if I change oil brand from Mobil to Total. Quartz 9000. It's a 5W40 oil. But I think Mobil will be cheaper in the long run. E get reason.

I've been using Mobil 1000 xhp 8litres 20W-50 for my w211 , m112 engine and no worries at all. I change at every 5k to 7k miles
