Believe this story at your own peril. Looks like a story of when someone's cup is full. Anyway, dead men tell no tales.

Na so trouble go reach some innocent persons o.

I can bet that amongst the occupants of those buses, there'll be those who had no interest and did not take part in the exchange between the mob and the police. However, with the present outcome, them go explain tire, no evidence.
This will definitely be some occupants situation

I seriously doubt if the accused persons killed the policewoman directly as being alleged. There is no sign of violence on the body of the woman. The woman may have had an underlying delibitating illness now triggered by the scuffle which led to her untimely death. I have no doubt in my mind that the police merely wants to frame these people with murder out of bitterness. But I have confidence in Tunji Disu of Rivers St. He will gets to the root of the matter.

That doesn't look like someone rhat was beaten to death. Clothes still neat and no apparent bruises on her.

Anyway trust nigerian police to your peril

This is one of the consequences of none regular police training.
Our officers and their methods of operation is a big shame. However, l condemn the killing of the police woman as that death was highly avoidable
Donbabaj: 12:22pm On May 01, 2024
I suspected that there must have been some form of arguments that led to dragging, pulling and pushing and perhaps, the police woman had hit one of the guys, you know as some police women dey do...hmmm. That must have led to the retaliation; but for heaven's sake why do people like showing themselves especially when they are in groups?

RIP

Why resort to violence over nothing...?!!

Any small thing, next thing na violence.

Well, they were simply tired of their freedom... Life imprisonment will be good for them.

The act of unlawfulness by the youth is totally condemnable but the police authorities should make the true story of events available to actually determine what triggered the incident.......it just can't be the issue of vehicle papers IMHO shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

undecided

Nigerians need to learn how to dial it down, particularly where security on traffic duty or stop & search are concerned.

Who re the young woman who pushed a female traffic police officer to the ground in Lagos some months ago? Someone on a thread on this platform predicted how her case was likely to turn out...

She would be remanded in police custody and would be treated harshly no doubt...

Her case would come up before a magistrate and the investigating police officer would probably ask the judge for more time to investigate...meaning the suspect would be remanded in custody for 2 more weeks or even up to a month...

When the 2 weeks or 1 month is up and the case again comes up before the judge, a new investigating police officer would appear and plead for an extension because the old IPO had just been 'transferred' out of town...and the suspect would again be remanded in police custody...

When the case comes up again, the suspect would find out the magistrate has just been promoted/transferred and a new judge would have to be assigned to the case...meaning the suspect goes back to jail...

And so on...

If all this could happen to a woman because she pushed a policewoman to the ground during an argument - what will be the lot of these men who stand accused of beating a policewoman to death for 'filming' them? undecided

It will not end well for these men.

See police woman you say dem beat. No sign of violence on her body and clothes still very neat. You don see person wey mob attack before??
Most likely, during alterations that lady slumped. Possibly from underlying health conditions

Even if she succumbed to an underlying illness, they are still culpable for triggering it by beating her up.
