If he let the testimony slide, you guys would have still pointed out the error and tagged the church as a fake testimony generator. He was being proactive which is very good.

Secondly, what gives you the right to tell people how to be? We all aim to achieve that level of meekness, but not everyone is meek and God doesn't work with perfect people.

I hope you are as meek as you want him to be, or you are heaping a coal of fire on your head for wanting other to do things you cant do.

I knew that's how it will end anyway. These guys are human as well buh the way their congregants hold them as if they are super humans is worrisome. oga...there is everything wrong with what the pastor did . which bible do you read pls?...read 1 Timothy 3:1-7..there you will see that what the pastor did was wrong ..what happened to gently correcting her in private after the church service or some other day?

Pastors in Nigeria lie almost every week directly from the pulpit but we swallow it and continue listening to them.
Do you even imagine how that lady felt walking back from the alter to her seat?

Do you imagine how she felt throughout the church service?

After going through a lot to graduate from school, in an attempt to give glory to her God, only to end up with humiliation from her supposed spiritual father, how does that feels?
