Allies is a strategic form of strength. US has many allies which it uses to maximise it strength both far and near. Russia has no strategic allies apart from dead countries like Belarus, Syria & north Korean because Russia has no combination of millitary, economic or diplomatic values it can offer any serious country. So no serious country takes Russia serious and no one wants to be Russia ally. Even frm soviet reoublics like Poland, Estonia Ukraine, Lithuania etc don't want to have anything to do with Russia. Common sense should tell anyone that Russia has very little strategic value.
