as a student it will be hard getting such unless you are ready to pay like 6 months rent in advance. About 13k to 16k . Because you don’t have credit history or records of employment. Use facebook marketplace/ rentals.ca . Your best bet is basement.

You should probably start shopping around for Hospitals close to where you’d land especially since delivery is about a month after you guys arrive. So you’d know the potential cost and prepare for it.

Most health insurance brokers will treat it as pre-existing condition and may not offer coverage for her even if u are willing to pay the annual , you can reach out to different insurance brokers to be sure(Bluecross/Manulife/Sunlife/CanadaLife etc).

In any case, you'd likely be busy with school + helping your wife with the newborn and she prolly can’t work for next 6 months. Suffice to say you’d need plenty of funds

Was only a matter of time. The periods between 2016-2020 will be ed as the golden age of Canada immigration. The number is already tricking down from 2020-present. In a few years time, migrating into Canada will be as difficult as a camel ing through the eye of a needle.
