No, you cannot apply for a fresh port.

It cost 3k, excluding convenience fee.

You can't apply for fresh one. Let them know you lost it or it was stolen.

It requires an affidavit that has QR image on the document. The affidavit being done in Abuja high court online works.

And I reside in Lagos, been to a few local governments on the mainland and it’s just the normal one with stamp that’s available. Wahala

My sister captured in December at ALAUSA.

We got there today. They misplaced the enrollment slip we gave them. When we noticed her name was not mentioned, she met the officer and he asked us to show him soft copy . He confirmed that the port should be ready that we should go and reprint and take it to Room 10.

We reprinted and took to room. The boss their asked someone to check. The officer said he couldn't found it and we were asked to me Servicom.

Servicom checked the system and asked us to go back to the collection room.

We met the boss and explained things to him. He asked another officer to check the status of the enrollment. The officer checked the system and said : "ED". The boss told us that the port is up but it has not been brought down that we should amcome back in the next three weeks .

Very stressful!!!!

Please i just checked through the tracking platform now and the status is :"port Issued/ Collected"

Pls has any one witnessed this before? What can we do next. We were asked to come in the next three weeks.

Are originals of documents needed for biometrics? I don't have my originals with me in Lagos, though I have the soft copy and the photocopy. Would that suffice?

If you are doing renewal, you need to show them the old port but apart from that just your application form, receipt and appointment print out needed.

You can go there, your sister port is ready and sometimes those immigration officers are lazy and will not check properly..They do normal only when their boss is available and will attend to you nicely..I hope next time you going, you will meet a nice and ready to help...It seems the port has been produced since

I did not anything. Only input my NIN and it requested some other information, which I typed in and it went for approval. Thereafter, I printed the .

Yeah Declaration of Age is actually 2k but they specifically asked for Attestation, and the NPC site doesn’t work cause I don’t have barcode affidavit. But I got Attestation for 15k before capturing

Please anyone very familiar with the new system for port application can assist to answer this query.
I am filling the form for my 4+ yr old daughter port renewal and I got to the point where I have to documents. Some of the documents listed are birth certificate, local govt certificate of indigineship etc.
is the certificate of indigeneship mandatory for minors port renewal? And where can it be obtained ? as it wasn’t used for her first port

Bying something is jumping it, i.e not doing it. Though the guy didn't approach it well. For me I tried using apps but it still rejected it, so I went to Yaba tech and met a photographer there. He took a new shot and gave me the exact size and background needed. I ed it and it was accepted.

My advice for guys: Apply for 64 pages port cos they are readily available. You should get it within a month. 32 pages isn't available anymore and they've not printed. Some people have captured since 3 months ago and still waiting.
