This bill is sent to National Assembly again? To those rogues again?

I wan know how much is been padded into this Audio Loan........make we know

This student loan cannot divert attention from the fact our Senators and rep are all ROGUES.......A pole of Streetlight cost 184million.

The handiwork of Akpabio, Tajudeen and Femi Gbajabiamila.

Only that Nigga called Ningi came out on a Clean sheet.....He was quickly Suspended. Even Betta Edu's suspension never came as quickly as that of Ningi because he opened their corrupt ugly black Yanshes to the viewing pleasure of the whole wide world.

It is hightime these rogues get taken unawares by rounding them up at the Plenary session and then light the whole place up. Its been done in Gambia and the style has helped them immensely.

You go just kee yourself over nothing. Cry, weep, wail, Emilokan Asiwaju Jagaban is President till 2031

But when he wants to destroy d economy, he will do dat singlehandedly and it will take effect immediately.

Ningi was just being mischievous. He's a rogue too. The aim was to make the House ungovernable for Akpabio and APC thereby creation division under one year.

Don't forget that Ningi too collected the #160m SUV, when Akpabio was sending prayers to the email box of senators, Ningi neither shouted nor rejected it.

Ningi and those behind him have their Agenda and it would be foolish of anyone to think that their Agenda is in the interest of the masses. It's purely political interest but unfortunately, the sharp guys in APC knew the plans and had to use the big stick.

This is impressive. If they pull this off they get an A in my book. That punishment part is very necessary, knowing our penchant to cut corners.

One bill at a time. Nigeria will gradually measure up to saner climes. Tinubu Eku ise.

Sincerely it will impressive if the Nigerian factor does not scuttle it. Very humane proposal.

We are in a sorry state because many poor parents would push their ward to take the loan not bearing in mind unemployment remains a pandemic in the nation.

What sorry state? No one has taken the loan yet. Education is not limited to seeking employment alone. Your education can also help you create jobs.

Take the loan and die! grin grin

Imagine owing FG 4 million naira, and after you graduated, you're now gainfully employed earning 50-200k. When will you pay the money finish minus your expenditure? grin grin grin

This is student loan it is not compulsory and not for everyone. If you want it, than you can apply, and it's means tested, based on your academic performance etc. on average only about 25% of students would take it and also be eligible. Great development for the Aisiwaju istration.

I agree with you that education creates job, but that knowledge is a waste if there is no or an enabling environment.

You should already know by now that there are already many graduates roaming the streets

And you do not think the numbers of those roaming will reduce with this policy?

This is nice. They should speed up the age so that indigent students can start benefiting immediately. This will be a signature legislation for Mr. President.

Not with the way they pad the budget and allocate hundreds of millions to something you as a private person will do for 2 mill.

If they allocate #200million to something that cost 2 million to complete how will you become a saner clime.
Tell me pls.

Increasing access to education through loans will result in a growing demand for skilled individuals in the education and related industries over the short, medium, and long term. This increased workforce will contribute to a decrease in the number of individuals unemployed or wandering the streets. It is crucial to advocate for this impactful policy and focus on revitalizing the educational system to ensure that graduates are prepared to be productive, creative, and innovative contributors to society.

Individuals looking to pursue Postgraduate education should be included too. Many are still unemployed. This will enhance their employability especially in the academic career.

I beg to disagree there is no empirical evidence to what you are saying. In as much as I want more access to education it must not be limited to accessing education through loans but emphasis should be placed on qualitative education, teaching methods, equipping our laboratories and improving our libraries.in fact a wholistic approach.I dont see how access to student loan alone will improve the skill manpower of Nigerians.Does that change the teaching methodology?Does that change the library with outdated information materials?Does that change our ill-equipped laboratories?Does that change lecturers engaging in blocking with students?Does that change sex for grade?Does that change universities from producing half baked graduates? Why can't Nigerians work with their Nigeria certificate abroad? That should also be a concern to the government. The first 300 best academic institutions in the world no Nigerian university can be found,I think that should bother President Bola Tinubu.

This man is buying time in other not to implement this thing on time. It was to be launched this month o. Same thing he did with New minimum wage, When it is time for implementation Baba just set up a committee to review. Why was it not done before implementation? Lack of political will.

Don’t bring your stinky sentiment or tribalism here. I am talking as a concern Nigerian.

If this can be approved I think it will be good to say the least.....if only Nigerian leaders can prioritize projects that are of common necessities to all, then people will be happy.......food,fuel price reductions, education, security, light (energy) quality health care ( hospitals everywhere) subsidize food necessities.... security.....Transport necessities.....etc
