It depends on the variety of cassava that you are Cultivating. Other Factors: Nutrients of Your Soil, Spacing for your Stems, And Weed And Pest Control. 22 Likes 3 Shares |

AyeMoJuba: TME419 is Good. It Has Less Cyanide. And It is What is Being used to produce Custard. I also have a company in Ondo State That Can Buy Over 30 Tonnes of TME419 Variety When You Convey Them To Their Company. 37 Likes 2 Shares |

AyeMoJuba: Now, You Know. I Presently Produce Custard From The Abundance of TME419 Cassava Tubers @ My Cassava Mill in Ugep, Cross River State. It's Called "Ege Oniyan" in Ekiti State - Meaning: Cassava That Tastes Like Yam. It is What We Use To Also Produce Yellow Garri in Cross River State. 24 Likes 6 Shares |

RainMoreDFARMS: I knew that figure can't be right because even my expenses rough estimation is over 200k...so how will a farm I spent over 200k to cultivate bring out a paltry sum of 200k? A whole years job? 21 Likes 3 Shares |

I am a cassava farmer ( through my bro), things are getting more expensive. Last year tractor work was about 25k per acre, now they are projecting 40k to 45 k per acre. Currently, 3 acres cassava will generate up to 3 million naira, while the profit will be up to 2 million naira.

Nigerfine3: Is this for processing the cassava into Gaari or just selling the tubers without processing? 9 Likes |

AyeMoJuba: Yes. Processing will shoot your profit to millions. But raw tubers wont give you much. 22 Likes 6 Shares |

Nigerfine3:Sounds better. You don't expect someone to spend one year cultivating a crop and ends up making 600k profit on 3 acres... it's a spoiler. 21 Likes 2 Shares |
