As in. They are just rejecting students. I never see jobs till now. I am depressed as bill are piling up cry

A care home wanted to take me but they require a car and driving license which I don't have. I can't even advise my enemy to come to UK as things stands now. cry

The job issue is widespread with no hope and am also depressed.
Getting money to pay the fees is what I have been cracking my brain in addition to house rent of 650 per month excluding bills like gas, light, transport then food, the exchange rate is not helping if one wants to borrow funds from home

Students looking for jobs, have you tried moving far North of England? Like Lancashire, Preston etc, it’s cheaper to rent.
May be far from your school and all the bubbling off London vibe, but you can move to school with national express and back. May be stressful but it’s always like that in the first year when you relocate.
Just move to areas where you can get jobs and maintain your 20 hours.
Then you can move back to London area if you have cleared your fees.

All the best.

I am in Northeast which is the cheapest places to leave. A house like mine in London and other area will cost twice to thrice like this.

Rent here in You Kay is sth else oh. That's why the elite hide their wealth. The berucracy in building a new house here is crazy and intentional.

That's why it's expensive

Me I thank God I reside in London though I tried all I could just for my partner not to get a school in London. Though rent is very high, hustle can really pay here and I have earned close to £10k in the last 3 months. I'm a dependant though. My MA still struggling to get a stable job although she sometimes earns about £200 a week in her Teaching Assistant job in primary schools.
Even at that, we still ran helter skelter to finish up payment of her tuition last month, I actually had to borrow £3k from a friend in UK to offset the £6k fee balance.
So my advice is, UK is saturated at the moment and it's worse for students now coming without dependants. It's practically impossible to come to UK now with the mindset of working 20hrs a week as a student and still get to keep up with rent and payment of tuition balance. It'll be difficult to even recoup the money spent on the UK japa plan.
Think twice before you commit yourself.

Which hustle give you £10k in 3 months?

I be seen some posts here saying they were interviewed

Maybe I overbloated it but definitely more than £8k. It was actually because I switched job to my current worker job and in the transition process, I overlapped working two jobd for more than 2 weeks. Holiday pay from first job came in too.
Also note that I presently enjoy tax free income because one's first earning of £12570 should not be taxed.
Guys should also look into NHS trusts near them, they take students. U just need to scale through the shortlisting and interview process.

London is expensive. For MA, you have to show POF of 1,300£ per month for London and around 900£ for other cities.

There's a reason for that.

Kwakwakwa cheesy

Which street wey you won run? UK schools don wise up oh, forget this your parole. I don't know any school but even if they exist (Google is your friend) I won't advise this.

The reason why I won't advise you to do this even if your get that deposit, the school won't give you breathing space to pay the remaining and once you don't pay and attend classes, they will report you to embassy and de-registeer you.

You see people complaining on this forum that it's difficult to get hustle on 20hrs limit showing on your brp and you still won put head. I went for a role and after every every, they say they needed at least 24hrs a week from me and it won't work out because of my restrictions

I don't really understand some people oh. I understand the hardship back home and the urge to Japa, was in this dilemma six months ago but jumping from firepan to fire is not the way forward.

Even after paying half of my tuition fee back from Nigeria, I am still struggling. Would have been worse if family and friends didn't when I finally got here

When I left naija, was when it was good. At least my parent ed me from Nigeria albeit I payed back because it was borrowed. 3yrs down the line I am still paying for all that brought and sustained me here. I am done paying people I owed, but I am still owing organisations aka credit card which I am facing now. The pressure is no longer there as I get to travel on holidays. All I'm saying is, that kwakwakwa way would have worked for him 4yrs ago, not now.

Even finding apartments is extremely difficult. You got to provide Guarantor once you are not working unless you are staying in school hostel or student accommodation of which us mostly not available.

Till today people are still looking for appartment here and there.

All You see here are genuine writeup.
If you want to come to UK or anywhere please plan up. That's the moral lesson here

As for the price of apartments in London.. You can check spare room.
If you want to rent 1 or 2 bedroom flat then be ready to spend 1000 plus. I have a friend in London , his rent is 1600

lol I believe that's the smart choice.
the UK home office delays study visas these days and then grant them when enrolment deadline is past. no reimbursement.
few universities will enrol you still.
some universities will then tell the late students not to come, and defer their intakes. the student is expected to make a new visa application and spend all that cash over again.
some travel and are refused enrolment, then told to go back to Nigeria.
no compensation, no nothing.
you could fight it legally in the UK and win, but then that's another significant expense. you still get no compensation except being allowed to enrol by the university and still expected to cough up the full balance of your tuition.

Even this thread is now deserted, I know how congested it was all through last year when when I was processing my own travel.
