God bless Niger and all true Nigerians

False Nigerians are those whose tribesmen have ruled Nigeria since 1970 to become the official poverty capital of the world.

Corruption and ill-conceived malicious projects.
Tinubu has revived the Coastal corridor dream highway aimed for transfer of the oil resources in the SS to the SW region, circumventing the SE.
N1 trillion. The money will be gulped and no route built even in the next 50 years.

This project will never be complete.

Ok but it has been approved and I'm sure 90% of it if not all will be completed before the North take over in 2031 because Tinubu and Umahi know if it fail to finish before the North take over they will stop the project so Tinubu and Umahi are not dumb they know what is at stake Ok.

Either you all like it or not Nigeria will move forward and Tinubu will restructure every mess in our system where indirect quota system had destroyed completely.

You shall see the transformation but be sure "No pain No gain".

People are not even complaining of bad roads again. They are more concerned about the affordability of food in the market. Why can't the FG protect the people of Benue and their farms from Herdsmen so that we can have yam as much as we use to before. I thought that with the emergence of the Rev Fr as the governor and also as a member of APC, the killing and the displacement will end, but I was wrong

Is it only Benue people who have good soil for planting...if the farmers in that state can't go to their farms, why can't farmers in other states go into farming?

Someone should please tell me why this road is priority.
There already exists a dual carriageway from Lagos-Benin-Warri-PH-Uyo-Calabar.However,many sections of the road are in a terrible state. I'm wondering why they can't channel the 1 trillion whether PPP or govt funded to the existing road. Sha, rumours abound that BAT has interests in the contractor Hitech.

Another option is to use the funds to at least kickstart the coastal railway. It has far more benefits compared to the road project.

You can never please Nigerians. No matter how cogent your reasons for doing something are, they must disparage your efforts and use mouth to construct and repair other projects for you. Maintenance of old infrastructure is just what it is. Maintenance. But construction of other new infrastructures is called development. Both are running concomitantly. Haba!

Europe will not be using fossil fuels in the next 30 years.
Instead of diversifying the economy of Nigeria, Tinubu is still focused on the oil in the Niger delta region.

Sound more like elephant project why not rehabilitate East/west road and develop water transportation for coastal line

just like Abuja -kaduna railway how many ppl will want to ply the lonely thick jungle coastal line ??

More need to be done on the security issues to restore confidence of farmers and travellers to use Kaduna-Abuja railroads without fear of being kidnapped or got splayed with bullets

This is just another name for Lagos Coastal Road to be constructed by Hitech, the Tinubu & Friends company. Only the Lagos phase of the project is to be constructed.

If Tinubu wanted to implement this 100%, there are multiples of companies, like Julius Berger, CCECC, RCC, etc etc that can simultaneously construct other phases within the same time frame.

If he is smart, this is the project that he would have used to launch an infrastructure bank and print money from thin air to rejig the economy.

Ok you have a good point but that is a coastal road. It will thru many communities that the roads you mentioned didn't thru there by opening up more areas for development.
As for the rumors about BAT interest in HItech bros you are on your own.

This is no doubt a massive project.

A massive project with questionable and potentially dubious contract award to Hitech, a company that has no pedigree nor capacity for this kind of job, all because of their connection and association with Tinubu and Lagos state.
There is no record of any competitive bidding process but the contract has been given to Hitech! Corruption, Cronyism and nepotism!

Its The Lagos-Sokoto road I'm very curious about. There are least 4 states between Lagos and Sokoto, how do they intend to link the two roads? The government needs to find a way to fix the economy first before constructing interstate roads

Is there any construction company that is not associated with government even Julius Berger? At a point Julius'Berger was even paid with crude oil for road construction. At the end what matters is for the road to be constructed. Una too complain!

Enemies of the state, keep crying. Hitech has done fantastic jobs and the minister is pleased with their work. Your tears will change nothing.

Lol ... ordinary east west Road they couldn't complete 17 years and still counting .. when they started the east west Road,... I was doing pre degree in uniport. That was sometime in 2005-20006. I graduated in 2012 after a 5 years course. And till today east west Road is not completed. They sessions they managed to complete are all being washed away by floods. They have left that one nowz it's Lagos to Calabar coastal road they want to do. If you like believe them,.... u do so at ur own peril. Nigeria is a shame of a country. I used to believe it will get better someday but am seriously contemplating relocating with my family cos we no get tunnel not to talk of light wen u wan see at the end of the tunnel

The project has been on paper since Jonathan days. Buhari ignored the project, but Tinubu is taken a step you are thinking negatively.

Mind you, if you are given a political won't you enrich yourself?

You want it completed in 2 years? So you’ll start complaining about the quality

Or you prefer the project canceled and the monies shared as palliatives?

There's already a road leading from SW to SS. This 1Tr should've been used to fix that road instead of a brand new one
Jlow2: 3:17pm On Feb 27, 2024
The first face is what was approved and the work of the first face is only in lagos, and trust me the next 4years will be spent on lagos alone.
