I will start by saying that when it comes to action, igbos will take a competent leader over their tribesmen. The first elected mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man. The igbos ed OBJ, Yaradua, Jonathan. We Igbos have agreed that you have sworn to never vote for an igbo man. Ok thats fine. We will never change your mind. But the least you can do is to provide a good and competent leader from your tribe. Una refuse. Tribalists please give us a good leader from your tribe and we igbos will ignore your hate and vote for that person. We care more about progress than spiteful tribalistic nihilism. 27 Likes 6 Shares |

Some Igbos also claim if an Igbo man can't get the main parties ticket, then the north should rule forever.

Anyone from northern region and south west should know that it is not only Igbo's that enter market to buy some things, now e don happen, shey na only Igbo the thing dey affect. Look as long as the northers believed that even their worst brother is better than the eastern man, Nigeria go die for suffer. And every body go die,

Greenbirth: This spiteful politics has been keeping Nigeria backwards. It’s the reason buhari prefered to build a railway to Niger republic instead of Onitsha. Just one example out of millions. 16 Likes |

Paraman: Not true. You say this to make yourself feel better. If that was the case why did igbos ignore Ojukwu and voted massively for obasanjo. This is documented history. 19 Likes 1 Share |

horsepower102: Ignore him because he knows the Truth. Igbos doesn’t vote because of tribe. It is a fact. They care about who will help their economic power more than anything else. The truth remains that No matter the Economy of Nigeria, Igbos will suffer least among other tribe. You don’t hear Batified again… Hunger has affected their lungs 14 Likes |

Paraman: And what’s wrong with that position? Or you think Ndigbo are in this country only to be your ‘slaves’, service your interests and always vote for Fulani or Yoruba? Why is a Igbo not good to be president? The emilokan gang, in making their case for why presidency should return to the south, said it’s the turn of the south after Buhari/north did 8 years! Note….they said south and not Yoruba/south-west! So we know they believe in zoning! There are three major ethnicities or political blocks:Igbo, Yoruba and Fulani/Hausa (correct me if i’m wrong on this), and since 1960, a Igbo has held the position of head of state and gov’t only for a few months during the Ironsi period! However, the other two major ethnic groups or political blocks have held at least two full in democratic dispensations, as well as produced military heads of state! Knowing all this, shouldn’t the other major ethnic group in the south have ed a Igbo they feel is capable as their preferred choice for the 2023 presidential election? Since they suspended their sense of fairness and equity, why then should any Igbo yet another Yoruba (a muslim….and one with a muslim running-mate) to be president!? Do we look like dunderheads to you!? Did you read somewhere that Igbo were born to be ‘3rd class citizens’ while the presidency is only meant for the Yoruba and Fulani/Hausa!? You claim this Tinubu gov’t is the south taking its turn, yet see as he pack Yoruba full everywhere! 40 Likes 1 Share |

The Yorubas voted overwhelmingly for Peter Obi. Tinubu did not win. Mahmood simply Yakubud the IREV. They swore him in when Nigerians were still in bed. They were afraid that riots could breakout. Obidient Yorubas are the Real MVPs. They moved the maddest for Obi. DON’T FORGET! Pa Ayo Adebanjo stuck out his neck for him. He chose equity, not region. The Afenifere were the ideological powerhouse of the Obidient Movement. Nothing Tinubu did could ever break their ranks. Peter Obi won in Alimosho, a Yoruba dominated LGA. The Yorubas moved the maddest for the best candidate in the race. 👏👏 Peter Obi’s massive margin of lead in Lagos scared them to shits. Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, Sanwo-Olu & MC Oluomo quickly went to work by organizing the now infamous incendiary agenda. “Yoruba Ronu” was born. It was whistled by no other person than RCCG’s youth pastor-cum-APC Youth Leader called Dayo Israel. They sullied what was supposed to herald Yoruba Nationalism. They did that for political gain. Please go easy on Nigerians (minus the Agbados). Nigerians voted wisely this time. Peter Obi was the winner of that election. He was in the lead until he wasn’t. They saw his massive margin of lead, & panicked. They quickly switched off the IREV. The presidential election results was the only election affected by the so-called SERVER GLITCH. They had to nicodemusly swear BAT in, when Nigerians were still in bed. They were afraid that riots could breakout. By morning, there was the silence of the graveyard across Nigeria. Suddenly, the entire country was thrown into mourning. 9 months later, those that stole a presidential election, don’t know what to do with it. They will continue to wallow until they can wallow no more. They excel in rigging but fail in governance. They are presiding over a Nigeria that no longer exist. Please be gentle on Nigerians. Young people voted wisely this time. The Establishment saw Peter Obi’s massive margin of lead & quickly shutdown the IREV. Obi was the winner of that election, but INEC & the Supreme Court had other ideas. Our only mistake was not occupying Nigeria. This is a true story, the story of Nigeria. 💔 Dele Farotimi 5 Likes |
